Had a bad accident in the Z earlier. think it's gonna be a write off:cry:

Pulled out to overtake a van and the bad end just went, crashed into the first barrier with the passenger back end carried on spinning across the road with loads of traffic about and smashed into the barrier the other side. Lucky nothing else hit us.

The Z if about 5" shorter on the front passenger side and a large chuck has been taken out of the passenger rear end

My partner smacked her head hard and done her neck and shoulder in. I've done my back in and banged my head:cry:

Just had the tracking and wheels balanced, could there of been any problems with this???

I'll post some pics later, gotta go see the doc now

I'm just glad we were able to walk away, I thought it was gonna be a lot worse as there was so much traffic about

Sorry nick, one of the wheels is Fu**ed, other 3 are fine

No way!!!! Sorry to hear this buddy. As they say, in the end it's only a car. What matters is that you and everyone else wasn't badly injured or killed;)

Hope everything works out for you. Keep your chin up;):)

Well, you've got wider rear tyres now, so bite and handling are going to be effected which is probably why you weren't aware of how far to take it.

Sorry to hear. Hope you're able to fix. :(

gutted for you.

Would you have another? or has it put you off?

Not sure yet, will be down to money. Would like another one though (with traction control:nelson:)

That dont look good mate... def a write off i would say....

Hope the inspector gives you a fair price......although with todays market.. hmmmm well fingers crossed for you bud....

From the pics I would think it is a write off, glad you both weren't more seriuosly hurt.

a "totally standard" one... i really dunno.. did you tell them about the alloy wheels???? he will pick up straight away they are not standard ones....slippy little worms they will try to get out of paying out at all costs..

I think you might be lucky and get £1500?? just look on Auto trader and look at 3 that are the same sort of spec and mileage...that'll give you an idea of what the assor will do ....

No i ment I hadn't rung the insurance up yet, the new wheels were on:headvswal

Ouch dude that is bad :( Im sure you could restore it though....

ah...........

errrrrrr............ well i dunno what to say mate.........

Admittedly it would be a very hard job doing it! But its still possible

Mmm.. the insurance will defo write that off I am afraid, not that it that bad its just a reflection of the values and insurance companies lack of enthusiastic interest in any type or make of car...its just business.

Repair is easy for a bodyshop and used parts are available, so take a cash payment to repair yourself that way you might make a little extra to spend where you want and you don`t get a write off marker on your zed, if you need any advice on how to etc. many members here to help.
