I'll go first :o Today, I smacked myself in the jaw with a 1.5lb deadshot ballbearing filled rubber mallet :mac1:

don't ask how I managed it..lol No broken teeth but my jaw's a bit sore :D

I droped a back box on my head while trying to fit it on the drive.:smash:

trying to get the little metal clip of the temp sender with an electricians termial drier and poking right through to my finger to my finger nail, nowt a bit of bog roll and electricians tape didnt sort though lol

almost burned my hand picking up a dump valve that i had not secured properly and had been dragging along sparking on the road :x: :x: beat that :dance:

Jesus... where do i start...

 

Taking out the AIV system.... Nut didnt want to move spanner slipped andwith all my strength smashed my thumb off the brake disc... I honestly thought it would be less painfull if i amputated it with my standly knife.. and it hurt for about 2 weeks after.. think i actually fractured it...

 

Neatly cut off my thumb with a saw the other day... that too slipped.....

 

was holding the speaker in the enclosure and screwing it in the mrs started to say something and screwed my finger to the box.....that hurt too.....still got the hold in my finger now....

 

i'm always cutting my self. the Mrs just says "again?" now... so i know its regular cos she dont care any more and i have to badage myself up.. :cry:

it was a sit on one at someones garden party, god only knows how i managed to let the thing run over my foot but tears and hospital followed!!

Got my hand Stuck between the wheel and caliper when my mate was helping me push it and i was puling at the alloy!! Nearly crushed my fingers took about 10mins before they would move without cracking lol

the stupid'ist one is when i had a escort mk3 1.6 ghia that had the xr3 style spoiler fitted

Got loads of little scars on my hands and even a few cuts from today.

Did a new one today! I've Got the car on ramps and stands while dropping the autobox and prop shaft. I needed to undo the 4 nuts joining the prop shaft together so I got my 24" torque wrench on it. Lying on my back under the side of the car with my knees up, I pushed the wrench away from me cracking the nut. I then let go of the wrench to grab a spanner and the bloody wrench swung back on the ratchet and hit me square in the nads :hurl: My automatic reaction was to head butt the brake lines :headvswal lol

 

You know you've done a good days work on your zed when you come in slightly paralysed down one side and bleeding profusely..lol

Walked straight into my "up and over" garage door which I had fully opened but the wind had caught and dropped to eye level. Slightly stunned for a minute. Doh........

I remember doing something similar trying to pull a HT lead from a sparkplug with the car running on a fiesta.

Couldn't let go of the bugger, was getting shocked for about 30secs. ouch, stiff fingers for a few days
