Just to set the seed in your minds!

March 31 - April 1st is Easter.

Time for a shone what 'ya' brung maybe!

'Danny' & the brum meet in November would be a good venue - unless any of you middle folk can suggest anyware better.(ps. bring the sun next time lol).

But a central meeting place is needed - Yes?

There are 500 odd members here, some have no Z, & some are from out of town so to speak.

But wouldn't it be good to see 60 or so Z's

in one car park (or mirror) lol.

3 months must be long enough to a biggie surely.

Or shall we wait till Billing & take over the whole allocation (again) rofl.

Over to the locals - take it away guys.

Harve.

Think a 'middle England' meet would be fantastic and am prepared to do the legwork for organizing it. The venue of our Dec. 22nd meet is easily accessable and can easily host a shit load of Zed but I'm willing to look around for any other suitable places.

Over to the rest of the forum to register interest before I make work of it.

Cheers smile.gif

Danny

I will be up for this one defo.uNLESS THE NURBURGING DATES ARE CONFLICTING.

Can you give us all the details.

ie will we have ot wait 3 hours for food?

safe parking ect.

But that weekend might be a bad choice cause i guess alot of people go away on that weekend.

I will need a few days to sort some issues out before I can sit down and work out the when and where of this proposed meet. If we decide to go with the same venue as in December then there will be no problem to host 30-50 people & vehicles. Food was good and very reasonably priced and service friendly and on time. In a few days I'll have a look at several possible dates and locations and will report back in due time. Thanks for letting me know about the Nurburgring dates - would love to go at that myself actually - and the fact that people will be travelling for Easter.

Will keep you informed!

Cheers,

Danny

Has it stil got Topsquads skid mark!!!

Over to you's.

mexico hehehe, its a RS1600 BDA brian heart full group 4 spec. just insured it for £30000. under going an engine rebuild, dropped a valve and blow the hell out of a piston, very interesting sight. so far, costing him £5000 to buy an engine then an extra £1100 steel crank, £800 pistons, £600 cam carrier, £1200 new cylinder head, also brought £1500 baby atlas axle, slipper springs the list goes on & on. The TT is in the car doctor aswell, manifold gasket went, whilst changing it, the wire loom broke. was very brittle, cost to date £1800. The ZX12R, hehehe, bolt dropped in the dial cluster causing the stearing to lock, scrubbed speed to about 30 and binned it. DK's in stoke footing the bill. so having lots of luck my poor bro's..

you can count me in for the meet!!! It would be great! wink.gif There are quite a lot of zeds in this area (nottingham, loughborough etc) and as long as we have at least a week or two notice then it should be a definately!!

Oh hell guys! Sorry for not posting with regards to the Easter meet. I've been so busy trying to get a job (need to pay those sodding bills) that quite frankly a lot of obligations have fallen by the wayside.

However, having said that, something positive (on the job front at least) is lurking on the horizon and I will at last have some time this week to have a chat with the manager of the pub we met at in December to see if he is willing/able to accomodate a large number of Zed fanatics. Whilst doing so I'll also see if there are any other pubs/venues available to us in the area.

Apologies again but I will get this sorted this week - promise. Thanks for the reminder!

Cheers!

Danny

PS - yes, TopSquads skidmarks are still there. He can't do that any longer now that he's got "traction control" fitted ... wink.gif

Hi, I've just found this site and would love to attend a meet for 300's. Please let me know where and when. My own car is a 'Bayside blue'(done by Silvia Engineering)import with stainless exhausts and Wings West rear end and of course it's my pride and joy.

regards

Mark

Hello again Danny & Harve. Nice to speak to yourselves again.

You can count Wendy & myself in for the meet at Easter, as the last one was so good.

Many regards

We'll probably be able to make it. We've got a wedding to attend in Oxford at some point at the beginning of April, but dates aren't confirmed as yet, but hopefully it won't be the same weekend.

I'm a newbie too - but had a TT for 18 months.

Shuld be up for a Brummie meet but wont be able to make it Easter weekend - parental obligations. Any ideas when / where yet?
