im looking at taking of my standard/horrible rubber spoiler as its gone all saggy, what spoilers suit the rear end of the 300zx? are there any from different cars that look good? i don't want a great big picnic table sat on the back and im not a fan of the "highline" style spoilers, just something not overstated, something like Funkisi's, etc. Any ideas?

Hi,

The 99 spec rear spoiler from Luke at the Z centre is really nice and suits the lines of the Z and is not over the top.

Cheers

Chris.

Looking from your sig pic its the Viper spoiler....

i was thinking of getting it smoothed but just looking at my other options and wondered what else i could fit on it.... be it from a different make of car or one specifically designed for the z.

tbh id rather have the silly high one, you can actually see the volvo T5 hurtling at you trying to pull you over lol! wether i just completely missed him! lol! love the police....

You can also get fibreglass replica of the original spoiler from zcentre, if you just want to stay the same.

I did not like mine when I first got it and I can see jack sh*t through my rear view mirror but I love it now

Only know of one other Zed with on of these

im just thinking about something smooth and subtle! was gonna just de-spoiler it and make my own plastic back panel as i have access to lexan (like perspex but a lot stronger and doesn't fade and can be painted on!), and a waterjet cutter! i was looking around and saw a....... hmmmmm... dare i say it...... COUGH vauxhall COUGH vectra COUGH.... spoiler that looks like it might have the right sort of lines, similar sort of size and not ridiculously big (had enough of not being able to see out of my rear window in my impreza:rant:). I know it would be sacrilege if i put a vauxhall spoiler on :nono: but i think it could actually work with a little modification and looks similar to the 99 spec 300zx spoiler. Any thoughts????

Yes, and it's not that expensive either.

Standard (replica version) or '99 spec are the only ones that look good IMO. I don't like any other alternatives......

.....but that's just me;)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
