Weather today for late February was fantastic. So, took the Z out to try and cheer me up, drove up to see Jimmer and Old_Zed. It did cheer me up a little bit. But Jesus, I forgot how many people look at the bloody things.

Was nice to be back behind the wheel. T-tops off and everything!

Good stuff buddy.

Makes me wish I had got out of bed earlier and had a blast in mine.

I had a really rough night last night. Layed in too. I really wanted to give it a wash first, but I would have run out of time. I haven't washed it in 3 months! Whilst it's been in the garage under a dust sheet, you still get a smeary glaze all over it after time.

thats one of the main reasons i keep changing my mind about my next car, i will miss the attention i get when out in the zed, im now thinking along the lines of an evo 6-7 lol

Was an awesome day today - missed out on taking the car out though - Will do that tomorow (watch my luck it will rain  )

I walked today whilst it was being pampered, washed, polished and hoovered :)

You don't realise how much you miss it till you take it off the road. I've had zeds as a daily drive for the past 3 years and this is the longest i haven't driven a zed :(

cant wait till march mines will be on the road and get all the glances and remarks.

dan.:D

i will be over your way si on the 2nd or 3rd to see jimmer for my engine rebuild, would be good to see u, if u r about.

Yeah should be mate. I'll pop up. Jimmer's only 15 mins away from me.

iv used mine as a daily drive for nearly 4 years, bet i havent done 1k in the last year though.

got the Griff for sunny days

and a saab 9000t for a work hack now.

Z is parked at parents, kinda miss it but it has a few problems...

As most know i have the vectra so i have been using it all week and tbh even the GSI is crap and boring to drive. get the odd look but nothing massive.

So i took the Z out for a spin today and omg what a car. just every thing about the car is sooooo much better. even tho the vecci is 10 years newer

So i kept driving for 3 hrs. loved every moment around Snowdon tbars off and the ipod on

As you said almost eveyone has a look as they drive past etc

You're so right Si:bow:

I took mine out for a blast this morning; dropped Julia at work then took the targas off to enjoy the late winter sunshine:hyper:

It's such a feel-good car; the looks, the sound, the performance and the attention:hyper: I don't get half of that in the SLK;)

I enjoyed it so much that I think I'll take it to London tomorrow; as I'm off to see my folks......

Richard:cool:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

sweet - glad to hear you had a good time Si - iv not had the targas off for nearly 2 years now - fearing that my 'solution' to targa leak would be ripped out with them. since theyve been bonded down properly again, and the sun's coming out - i might give it a go!!

When you have a pram as your daily driver, that's hardly suprising Nick. ;)

Good to hear Si, the zed helps ease the mind. Was also out all day with the tops off enjoying the sun at last, done all my last money on fuel, but there is enough for more fun today. Payday on wednesday.
