No one deserves it but it irritates me that even if she only had an in-growing nail she'd sell it to every half-arsed newspaper there is!

My opinions of her won't change, but that is horrible and for that I feel sorry for her. :(

I cant stand her, cancer or not. Don't get me wrong, she doesn't deserve to be ill or die, but there are thousands of men/women & children who have various Cancers and have died from the disease, so what makes her so special that she gets her own TV documentary.

 

I know I sound like a cold hearted b@stard, but if me or any of my family caught cancer, noone outside our family and friends would giive a stuff.

Maybe I'm biased, but having recently buried two close relatives who died from cancer (one of which was bowel cancer), I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

 

Like many so-called Celebs these days, she does seem unable to live without a TV camera around though (no pun intended LOL).

Patrick Swayze is a far more credible celeb than Jade goody ever could wish to be, and he has a far more aggresive strain of Cancer, and it looks as though he wont pull through, but you hardly hear about him.

IMHO Instead of you all posting your personal thoughts on her have you thought that it may ( and I am only saying may) help public awareness of trying to get tested as early as possible

 

I for one do not know symptoms of a lot off illnesses and it might make me start to look at some that may at some time affect me

Spot on, her being in the limelight for it helps raise aweness and charity funding to help EVERYONE with this illness.

 

I'm not saying like her cos of it, or that she is more special than the thousands of others who have it, but it being so much in the public eye is a good thing! Rich ;)

Your right mate, Patrick has pancreatic cancer and theres no way of coming back from that, lost a friend to it a year ago.

people say this all the time but it in the papers/news because she is well known to millions of people...not just a handfull ..hence why it makes the news ...doesnt make her more or less important than our own relatives..just more known due to her lifestyle....!!! i think its a terrable illness & u would of thought there would be a cure by now!!!!

nobody is more important cos they are on tv, but the fact that it has been posted on this forum show's you the difference in what or who people talk about! just that she is a "so called celeb" basically someone know on the tv to lots of people & lots of people do like her & she has done alot for variouse charities around the world! not liked by us but has helped people with her new found welth! so i guess at least for the bennefit of those it should be broadcasted!!

ive always thought she was ok, fair enough she speaks before she thinks but she only says the things that we would like to say without geting earache from the pc brigade, like when she told that shilpa shitty or whaterever her name is to go back to where she came from after being slated by her, you cant tell me no one has ever thought of saying it in similar circumstances, and about this cashing in on her illness, it was going to be all over the papers and tv regardless, so why not make some money out of it and tell the stroy from her point of view rather than the single minded people of tabloids and forums

Cancer is awful! My mom had breast cancer, they sorted that - then a few months later it spread like Jade's and within a few months, game over. :(

ditto to a very close friend was the same, it was so rapid the illness took her. cancer is so nasty

News today is she wont be pulling through - it has spread to her liver
