but there are still alot of very very cheap ones around which doesnt help the price of zeds and it doesnt help the people trying to sell at higher prices even though the higher priced cars are generally much nicer.

Once they're gone and scrabbed for bits the market should pick up, i refuse to sell mine for silly money at the moment so i'm breaking it for spares

j1mmytt: Ok everyone, from now on no one sell one for less than £4000 Deal?

or just keep your zeds and enjoy it :)

Or put them all up for sale and only let it go when your ready and the price is right, even if it takes 4 years.

I feckin hope prices are going up :D

I certainly aint selling mine anytime soon :D

DEAL!

But, you must also inform everyone else in the country that they must pay 4k and over

you got no need to worry pete...your cars only worth £250 anyway:rofl::rofl::D:tongue:

The above are all ASKING prices.

If they all sell at the asking price then that might be encouraging.

Something tells me that wont happen anytime soon:nono:

I think they are stabalising. As I mentioned in another thread, you can't find TT Manual Z32s on Autotrader for much less than £4k.

No.

They won't sell.

£10,000K will buy you a usable real classic Z a 240Z or 260Z in unmodified condition.

The 300 will never be worth any money in the for-seeable, cause there are so many in the country, lots modified (for every £5k spent on aftermarket mods reduce the price by £5.5K) a classic's got to be standard.

Your as well spending £1000 on decent running 300 than £4000 on an immaculate 300, cos they're 20 years old and you're just as likely to have expensive repairs on either because of their age.

There's a lot of enjoyment to be had from driving a nice car that's worth f*ck all.

I dont really care about the value. as i will never get rid of mine anyway :)
WELL SAID!

Don't think you'd get a good one for £10k

It will be 20-30 yrs before the 300zx would ever be considering geunine classics....in the meantime properly Modified examples do fetch more than standard.

You've either not driven an immaculate Zed or not driven a Rough one. The difference between the way they look, go, handle, stop and generally feel is like night and day...unfortunatly far too many are at the rough end of the range. Quite a large proporation of the Z's I have driven would of put me of them for life if I had'nt known what a good example is like.

I paid £2750 for my import TT auto with 50k kilometers- it has no probs, is unmodded apart from Hid's & after market 18" wheels (have retained originals) & I enjoy it immensely. People simply don't believe me when I tell them what I paid-it looks like a 10k! car and my max depreciation is £2750 (less what I will get eventually for parts) it's what our friend jason dawe would call ' free motoring'!!

I said 'usable'!

Yes, but, I bet that a lot of the 'rough end of the range' includes a lot of modified super duper 300's. Put it this way, I'd rather trust Nissans engineering to cope with iffy owenrship than some unspecified(or in fact specified) tuners engineering mods.

Long and short, if you want to sell your car, or want to know how much it's worth, stick it on Ebay, no reserve (don't put the get out, this car is advertised blah, I reserve blah), and see what happens!
