around 2002 my brother imported a 300zx, 1990 i think it was, had some modifications from japan, bro did some himself and then he had around 350-400hp. got a 13.6 second 1/4 mile i think it was and an allegeed 650hp r33 only beat him by 0.2 seconds. after cruising in those spotless leather seats with the tagras off i knew it was the car i will have when im older PhotoAlbumBig.jsp?MemberId=3628225249&PhotoAlbumId=3817721914&PhotoId=6532297752PhotoAlbumBig.jsp?PageNbr=1&MemberId=3628225249&PhotoAlbumId=3817721914&PhotoId=3817723609 (hope pictures work)

Having a Z on the Shetland islands must be like having an itch that you can't scratch. Bet it's frustrating!

not really, roads are kinda crappy but theyre quiet and have a good ratio of straights and bends, plus scenery is good, the only bad thing is weather, but considerind we are basically oppssite alaska it could be worse lol

When i was 17 i took my R5 to longlife in cardiff and there was one parked up and my draw just drop and i just said "WTF is that?, i WANT one"

the first time i got code 55 after replacing the knock sensor and put my foot down then i loved it

I wanted one just as much as any other car, but after picking it up and the smooth ride home on the motorway, looking down and seeing 180 on the clock, I though, yep things dont get much better than this :) thats when i fell in love, but i also love my van :slap:

Back in 1989, I was 6 years old. Me and my Dad are both musicians. He was playing at the launch party for the Z32 with his band, and me and my Mum tagged along. I walked into the showroom and instantly fell in love with the car, and said to my Dad (at 6 years old) that I was going to get one, and 19 years later, I got one, never stopped looking for one, but worked out of the country for 3 years, so as soon as I got home, bang, bagged mi self a Zed! Also, I'll never forget my Mum getting a bit ambitious with the free wine and champagne, and removing a targa and dropping it! Didn't break and landed on some carpet, so she got away with it, haha, ahhhh, the memories! :duffer:

Ah i thought it was some sort of private plate :wack:

I knew i'd want a zed the first time i seen one up at crail.

Was eating most things for breakfast and ever since then, i knew i'd have one!

Had my shortie since september 07 and loved every minute of it........even the test drive in Norwich town centre!

Must of been 10 years ago at a silvia engenering open day in maldon , loads there had an s13 200sx at the time never realy seen any 300s to i started going to se for mods for the 200sx , spoke to some owners but they were around 15-20 k to buy back then.

I was driving to one of my friends houses locally and as i was driving past a house i noticed a white 300ZX on there driveway, i couldn't stop looking at it to the fact i nearly crashed my car! But after that i always wanted one, so last year at the age of 20 i got one!

:)The first time I fell in love with a Zed was when I was on a school trip (94-95)aged about 14-15 we was going to the south of France.

I remember sitting on the coach with my selection of car mags Revs, Maxpower & Fastcar :headvswal

And Maxpowers main feature was a yellow modded zed. I remember how the car was praised so much for being such a Monster and so different to all the other cars! I instantly promised myself I would own a Zed one day.

I see a few Zeds driving about over the years which was a rare site untill my mate bought a Grey TT import in 2000.

In 2003 I had to have one which I still have to this day well sort of its in a few different parts

I still love to this day the wow factor you get from people and the confusion in what it is:)

I first saw one everyday on my walk home from school. Probably from the age of 9. So 1994 ish. It was a black TT import auto. G reg with leather. And i never saw it move, just watched it over the years deteriorate at the side of the road. I saw it once on someones drive near where it parked with the bonnet up and someone stood there with a laptop. From the first day i saw it, that was it. So i learnt to drive in a 1 litre micra, did my 1st year of driving in my mums nissan 2 litre QX, got an almera SRi for a year, then an amlera sport +, then almera GTi (slowly working up the nissan range). Then in 2006, got my 1st Z and what a car. And the one i have now is 10 times better than i could have ever imagined. Gonna be a long and expensive love affair.

 life story. lol

danny

Kind of a love hate thing for me.

I fell in loved with Zeds after I saw PaulG's fridge for the first time.

Starting hating mine as its had too many issues.

But I still love her as i keep getting it fixed. lol.

Possible! it seems to be around the same time. I still have the mag in the loft some where for safe keeping

I might go and dig it out

When they first came out..... I was walking in Muswell Hill and saw the rear of a yellow one and thought it was a GT40 ! Went to have a closer look and fell in love with it then. Couldn't afford one Had a couple of 3 litre Capris and 2.8 one and eventually bought a brand new XR4 then a couple of Granada Cossies and now at last I've got a ZED ! At long last.... Best Toy I've ever had - LOVE IT

lol, I'd know it straight away if i seen the pic again! , mind u I've prob still got a copy my self somewhere;)

Next door neighbour had a black N/A import. I didn't fall in love with it straight away, but after a while I realised that they are so different to every other car. Now I won't rest until I have one parked on my drive.

Having an mot on my mazda at the local nissan garage in 90`, picked up a brochure whilst waiting. It actually made my pulse race..only car ever to do that, although a silver, series 2 rx7 does give me the horn. Beats a bloody sled anyway!
