Oh god here we go.

Youve been on here long enough to know the pros and cons.

I know what your like you just wanna take one for a spin lol.....

Moving from 2+2 TT to a slicktop, similar mods (as I moved them over :)), both manual

- little difference, if any, while crusing (only thing you do notice is it feels sportier and less GT like due to the cabin being smaller)

- the slicktop is definately more nimble, it's more than a subtle change, you notice just going round roundabouts!

- the slicktop also feels quicker with the same mods. If you look at the JTuner day a few years ago my slicktop was quickest though mods were similar to the other TT's (air filter, exhaust, ECU and 14psi boost)

I've not driven a Targa SWB so can't comment.

are you going on about this agian!!!!! :slap:

Please FOR THE LOVE OF GOD sell your LWB for a SWB!!!!!!!!! :headvswal :wack:

I've driven a SWB as well as LWB and as Jaffa says, just feels a bit more nimble.

I might add the exhaust is a little more intrusive as per losing a few inches off the exhaust.

All in all a tighter sporty feel than lazy gt feel, more like an mr2 kind of cornering feel

Pretty much bang on.

When my SWB was standard, it felt alot tighter than my standard lwb.

Exactly.

Wise words from a man who knows.

I too have driven both (in NA form)

the Slicktop is not for everybody but I wouldnt consider anything else.

^^ Spot on. It feels tighter and more responsive to your inputs. The LWB feels lazy when stepping out of one and into another.

I also dont get the creaks and rattles that LWB's suffer with, maybe becuase I have rebuilt the car, but most likely becuase the chassis does'nt flex so much.

The downside is that you cant fit any children or dwarfs in the back (although I have had somebody in the boot, but thats a whole different story) and you have to be quicker to react to oversteer...it responds quicker....which means you need to as well.

Thats a plus point not a disadvantage:)

When I got mine, my little one (7 at the time), ran to the other car, took out the booster seat and plonked it in the passenger seat before my wife even got near it. When I asked her, where would her mother sit, she said she didn't know, hopped in and closed the door :)

absolutely fpmsl

HOW CAN I ENJOY IT... its RED FFS!

put a couple of roses wrappers over your eyes and make it purple..would be best using the the big purple ones with a nut in the middle:)

I really like them, the whole car feels more sporty as you get in, i know that sounds stupid because from the back of the doors forward it's exactly the same but it just feels that little bit more tight and cosy?
