First of all i'd like to publicly thanks Smithy and Wozzer, both have given so much help weather it be in the form of Funds or just an ear to mare off at and a lift here and there.

Thanks you so much Guys... really mewans a lot:bow:

A few:duffer: on me at the next national meet....

Well on to the pictures.. only a few as.... well i'm a little pissed off still with the whole thing... there is some good news and some bad news

Good news...

Suspension 'looks' fine as does the steering joints... and the front bumper is also ok, a few chips of aint here and there andmight need a skim of filler under neather but all good there.....

Bad news.....

Well the wing is fooked.. knew that, as is the side skirt, knew that too.... but the recovery company tha picted up the car in the forst place fooked the passenger door, and i now have a massive scrap on teh rear quarter pannel.... Grrrrr fookers but cant prove it...... but the marks are the same colour and there is no way loosing a wheel would fook the door like that when it didnt damage the bumper of teh suspension... and where would the rear mark of come from.. all damage is local to teh font wing area.....

anyway  over... for now...

Front wing...

Jimmytt put me on to a company that can match it, i still have a very very small amount of the paint so...well, we'll see....

it looks like to me & i'm no expert ! but the wheel has come loose then gone up under the fiber glass wing, ripped that open probably jammed up between the wing & front of door(as there seems to be black curved marks..eg tire) then bounced & hit rear quater..(black marks again) try thinners on the marks if they go with ease you will probaly find it rubber marks!!!

but a real bummer nether the less!! will your insurance cover the damage?

Dont forget the paint shop on the island in Charfleets next to the gym, very good at matching custom colours for you, good prices too.

Hope you can get it sorted without too much bother fella

No going through insurance, i already have a wing and a little time sorting out the side skirt it's not worth it TBH.. I thoughtthat withthe wheel at first but there is paint rubber away buy the straps of Hiab, and remeber they dint have the spare wheel they lifted it from the disc....... the Guy in the pound said off the record that the delivery company damaged the door... Grrr....

buggers i guess they dont take much care once its been smashed up...not the attitude when it someones pride & joy(& occasional head ache..lol)

Bugger, well it's not as bad as i thought and you're right that some tlc and it'll be sorted so long as there isn't any underlying mechanical damage. I'll keep fingers crossed for you buddy

i cringed looking at those pics !! , but glad u've got it back and hope you get it sorted soon;)

Glad it's back home with yer mate, that certainly was the most important thing and i was more than happy to help. :)

Least you've got a few months now to get it sorted ready for Z009, I'll be there meself fingers crossed. Oh and tbh, cheese burgers go down better than beer with me :D

cheers

smithy

Neil, at least its back with you mate. Looking at the pics, a bit of tlc and a few bits and it should be okay.

Did you have any joy with locating the wheel?

Let me know and i will do what i can.

Charged the Battery while i was under the car, and she started up first time, no liquid missing or escaping so all looking good....:hyper: :hyper:
