Ive just renewed my insurance

I was paying £1400 with 'ibuyeco' and they wanted £2090 for renewal, ive had no bumps or changes in the last year whatsoever.

So i cancelled the renewal today and got a quote from admiral for £585

Thats a saving of £1505!

GENIUS!

use the compare websites like http://www.confused.com http://www.gocompare.com and http://www.moneysupermarket.com , you cant fail with them, ive been checking them or months and have been planning on taking up a quote from admiral for £695 which i got via confused.com, last minute check on gocompare and i got a quote with all the same details for £585.

Dont know why, dont care why :)

my car has loads of insurance left yet i paid £174 for a year in my dads name so as long as i dont crash it i will be fine lol as its off the road i dont think i will be crashing it now

hopefully next year i will be able to afford to insure it in my name my problem is i have no ncb as i was on my dads insurance where i ernt ncb but what they didnt tell me was its not transferable grrrr

so now i have my tina insured giving me a start on the ladder that was only £354 a year

how ironic, got a renewal through today for 369 :hyper:

369 the goose drank wine :rofl:

stay on your dads name, why not?, so long as your dad has his own car too, the policies are kept seperate, what difference should it make?

the insurance company we was with offerd ncb to named drivers so as a named driver i ernt 2 years ncb but its not transferable :( and they wont insure me on the zed coz of my age so we had to get some quotes for me on the zed none of which i could afford so its just in is name on a fully comp policy i also have a fully comp policy on my tina so does that mean i can drive the zed on 3rd party or do i have tobe a named driver on the policy ???

just been looking at mine,

got a qoute of £617 fully comp, all mod decleared 4 years NCB and protected...... oh and no excess. lol :) Elephant is your friend....... always given me the best quotes and they do a 10 bonus accelorator plan, you get a years no cliams for 10 months insurance. :) nice way of building up NCB quickly....

ooooh, thats what it does, i didn't know what it did so i would'nt click on it,

You can get it with admiral also, and it knocks the insurance down abit too

That is a good saving. I'm paying £450 on mine, but must look around for either cheaper deals or agreed value which I really should do.

Si, If you haven't already got an agreed value policy, you really should get one ASAP. You never know what's around the corner (literally :D) and with a car as clean as yours, you don't want to be offered £3000 for it.

Got mine on agreed value with Adrian Flux for £14000 (that's the value, not the premium LOL).

Peace of mind bud.
