We are told every year that educational standards are rising as shown by the increase in the number of top grade GCSE's. What they don't tell us is that those at the bottom of the class seem to be worse than ever. Shouldn't those pupils receive extra help to raise their standards so at the very least they can communicate? The sad thing is that the person concerned is probably completely oblivious to their lack of skill in grammar & spelling. BTW like 'retuned' for 'returned'- rather ironic given what is for sale!

before canning his or her arse the person might not even be english and when has it been a "crime of the century" not to be able to spell or use the queens english...my 9 year old daughter can spell better than me because ime shite but she cant build a house from the ground up and its me who brings home a turnover of 10k a month....sorry but i just dont get all the piss taking on bad spellers

the thing is there are so many free spell checkers out there now there isn't a real excuse for bad spelling. especially if your trying to sound professional and sell something.

I'm sorry to say znut, but it SHOULD be important to be able to spell correctly. I'm not fantastic at it either, but then I use a dictionary for handwriting and spell checkers for PC work (although not all the time as my work PC doesn't have one built into IE) and I'll use it before I send this ;)
