Hi,

Whilst driving the car today, I have been monitoring the boost guage (does not have a stock one on) I have an after market HKS one.

My question is that I have read the buyers guide and done a quick search but I just need to know what the guage should be reading as it is in-

mmHg upto O.O then in Kg/cm2

up to 0 doesnt really mean anything, as its a vacuum measured in millimeters of mercury. So just disregard it, im not sure what the conversion is to change kg into psi/bar, pretty sure a quick search on google will yield some results

Thanks just had a quick Google and:

1 kg/m^2 = 14.224 psi

So will check tomorrow what she is running at.

stock boost is crap,

mine is less than 10 PSI :smash:

need cash to get ECU chipped, then wack it up to 15 PSI

I had a quick run today and the boost (with a heavy foot is hitting 0.5 kg/m^2 = about 7psi....

I take it that this is on safety boost?

um i dont know if thats safety boost?

standard thats all they are? supost to be 9 but may lose a couple.

any views on that welcome tho as mine is only just over 0.5kg also

yep - they 'lose a couple' when in safety boost! As for standard boost being 'crap' it's not the first word that springs to mind... I've got a feeling you're about to find out that your car's not been running properly...!

i dont know?

its pritty fast?

boost is on

why MAY it be in safety boost? how can i bypass it?

will installing boost jets overide this?

sorry, my boost is on 9 PSI.

not safety, but still thats low/crap :D
