Hello folks. Need a bit of help. I have just replaced my heater matrix with a Primera one after the old one washed my carpets for me. :headvswal . The replacement went fine but i have a connection that i can not account for, and i do not want to go any further with the refitting of the dash until i solve it, or someone solves it for me. :rofl: It is the arrowed connection that comes of the part of the loom that goes to the heater connections. My little brother wants SatNav for his first car but he figures he may as well go the PDA route as he can use it for other things as well then. Does anyone have a PDA with SatNav or recommendations. He quite fancies the Navman PiN 570.

I need to get hold of a replacement indicator stalk. But this is no ordinary indicator stalk! After looking through all the old Zeds down at Ztech we couldn't find one with the same plugs coming out of the back. Most only have one set of plugs, mine also has a smaller plug coming out of it (this is highlighted with a red square in the pic). If anyone has one of these for sale, or knows what the extra plug thing is for please let me know. Thanks, Mike...

When I had my rear screen removed and refitted the trim no longer fitted properly as in these photos .... I have recently sourced a good used replacement and it is the same, with a gap at both ends and the company doing it think the seal shrinks and I need to buy a new one, has anyone else had the same problem or are we missing something obvious and not realising it as I have never heard of this problem before, any suggestions gratefully recieved, Richard.

Hi, Had a look on search and couldn't find anything, does anyone have any links on how to put in longer studs on the rear, i need to put on 20mm spacers, i tried the other day and it looks to me that the hub will need to come off any ideas? Cheers.

I have a rattly bottom end (OO-EErr matron!) suspect a bottom end bearing. have spoken to ryan and he thinks it is probably due to me using gtx 10-40 when i did my last oil change.. how difficult is it for me to find out the bearing and crank numbers so i can order the correct parts?? i presume you can do it by removing the sump?? also how can i check if it has done any damage to my tubs?? and where is the best place to get new bearings from.. any spanner jockeys available who have done this before and could help??? reason for me askin is ryan is backed up solid for the next 3 weeks and i would like to have her fixed for japfest2 .. well my check engine light was on to i pulled the code and it told me a code 51 and i dont know what code this is another thing is that the check engine light and the red led on the ecu are on at the same time im confused whats a code 51

Hi guys, i would like to get my none turbo ZX super chip so that i can get a bit more speed. does anyone knows if doing this is a good idea, will it cause any major damage to my car, your advice is most wellcome :cool:

When I have my main beam on and use the indicators, the side light next to the indicator on the front bumper comes on and stay on until I cancel the indicator. Same for both indicators! Are these supposed to be my front fogs as they do not come on when I press the front fog switch but my headlights seem to go brighter. Also, only the the round lights inside the headlights come on full beam. Is this right? :confused:

This afternoon/evening on Bear Flat. Standard looks apart from a high rise spoiler on the rear!

It was misfiring above 4k rpm, also had code 34. I rewired the connector and reset the ecu, no more code 34, all clear. Changed the maf and the misfiring stopped on low boost but still there on high boost. Also got code 34 again! When it misfires i cant hear any rattling, its just total power loss. Im going to change the plugs next but its really starting to pi** me off! What percentage should my a/f be at idle and full throttle? Is my car detting?

is it possible to change the diode pack with out removing the alternator? if not , how dificult is it to remove the alternator? and does anyone have a photo showing where they are in the car? thanks

my locks are messed up and it jsut happened recently, okay so i open the door, i lock it and it locks the driver and passanger door, i close the door and little lockingy hangle pops out so i can see the orange part and it sends a signal to the passanger door and unlocks that one too, so basically i cant lock my car and this just started happening yesterday, also when i turn the car on the locks used to lock and now i hear the click noise but they dont lock and whne i turn the car off and take the key out they used to unlock but now i hear the clikc noise as if it was tryign to unlock but it doesnt work, i also have an alarm and i have keyless entry and when i try to open/…

A Little Help Please!! How do you use a boost leak tester, Im not getting full boost until way up the rev range and even then its not really at max (stock gauge mind you). I presume you do more than remove the filter and MAF and just connect to intake pipe and pump away right? ;) thx guys :bow:
