Right people Here;s my dilemma, At the moment i have no front bumper at all....wasn't a probleme as i'm rebuilding it, how ever the time has come to make a dissision, because the car is now at the stage to get sprayed, there is no interior trim in at the moment and i'm running out of things to do, so need to get a bumper, i am waiting on the twinz to get their s**t sorted and get them over here, heres my dilemma...................................... A. Do i get a second hand tt bumper, and get the car sprayed then have the twinz bumper resprayed WHEN it get's here? :confused: B Do i get the TT front bumper and wait for the twins 1 to arrive then get…

been offered an engine for 200 quid but it has low compression on one or more cylinders. what is the likely cause and is it worth buying. will it be rings?

On the import it ranges -7 to 7 and on UK it has -14 to 14. If I was getting indigo dials for my import would it be an issue that the range is different? Can't see why but better to check before spending..... Thanks

I cant find anyware on this site which tells you the various MPG for the all the Z's. :duffer: I want to know the MPG of a standard Manual TT zx, But if someone could list all the types of cars it would be very helpfull. Changed the rest of my plugs today and one or two of the bolts that hold the balence bar on are threaded! I managed to get them in enough and it doesnt appear to be leaking but its not good! The worst one is the back one of the two on the left side, the thead has gone on the plenuim. If i use a thread kit to make a new thread will the shards of metal go into the chamber and cause a problem? I need some to have a look on the bottom of their plenium and see.

As above really.... My boost guage has been dead for a while but the car seems to be boosting fine. Any advice welcome.

I`m thinking of having some Leather- like seat covers made and want to put a logo on it, I`m looking for members suggestions as to the postition of the logo and also the logo itself, whether it be "Z" or "300ZX". Not sure if there is a set 300zx logo, any feedback at all would be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance

Took the cover off my car today to remove my leather seats and some little tw@t has had a right good kick at my front wing!! :mad: We think because its on stands, someone has give it a kick to see if it would fall off :mac1: It was having a little bit of bodywork done anyway but pi55es me off as thats more money i didnt have to spend which i now do have to spend :( Bugger Mike

Any help much appreciated. ABS light came on, topped up fluid and checked fuses, no difference. Carried out ABS diagnostic which came up as two flashes. Checked the resistance between appropriate terminals, resistance ok, diagnostic says replace control unit. Sourced a seconhand control unit and still getting two flashes. What have i overlooked? anyone else had this? any basic checks that might solve this? etc. Thanks David

After all the problems i have been having with the turbos the car is finally sorted after 6 months:(there is however another little niggle no boost lol well i say none its nore like 1 psi ,there is no hissing from the engine at all just when it goes to boost there is very very little ,i no there is a way to test for this so can someone point me to the right thread,i cant find it,cheers

I have decided not to Decat my Z!do not want to risk blowing my tubs,my car is a 1991 manual 300zx tt,the only mod's i have are a blitz sus induction + twin 5" back boxes the make of i dont know? but i would dearly like my Z to make a more aggresive sound(exhuast note) so i would be appreciative, on any advice on different back box sound levels?mongosse etc,etc.or is it possible to purchase straight through back box's? and if so would the exhaust note be more aggresive(louder). thanks for your help guys!. Hi guys,and gals,sorry iam not jimmy savile,i wonder if you could help,ive just had my tt converted to a manual,and i thought the exhaust was blowing a little and it seemed a little week,thinking if the exhaust was blowing mybee that would explain it,so got under the car this morning and noticed that on my exhaust there are two metal pipes that come off each side of the exhaust,oh by the way its a kakimoto exhaust,these pipes join flexible hoses then go into metal pipes and disapear into the engine bay maybe under the wings,the thing is both these pipes had not been connected up again ,is there a reason for this, idont want to connect them up if they have been left off fo…

Yep. the little shits who have way too much time and IQ and little intellegence have finaly worked out how to attach a bug to a JPG image file. You cant open tehm, you cant edit tehm and you cant delete the fookers. Then they start hatching around your system.
