i need some advise i want to de-cat my fairlady but some people say is not gd for the turbos other say that the cpu will give me problems and also for the supra i know u gota change the fuel pump or somethin like dat all i want to know if it good and worth it and wont give me any problems

i just recently put a new big exhaust on my car the old one was buggered!! The only thing worth salvaging off the old exhaust was the tips! if any one needs them there on ebay at the mo! :smash: please dont hesitate to ask questions! Nick :nana2: 200054164097

Bought one of these installed it and have got to admit I am impressed :) It plugs straight into the consult socket, has peak reading facilty warning sound/flash and it looks good. Although it doesn't have the presence of a set of guages, it avoids all the plumbing installing them, it isn't as expensive and it uses the stock nissan sensors, and it is easily detatched if you want to sell the car!

Was looking at some properties for sale in an Estate Agents on Westow Street Crystal Palace and one of the houses had a nice black Zed on the drive in the photos. If you live near Church Road I should be coming to view your place next week ;)

Hi Just lifted my stripped block into the boot of my car. Almost put my fookin back out it was that heavy ! Did Nissan ever make the late model Zs with alloy blocks or has anybody else subsequently produced one ? Cheers Robin

Having whipped the rear mid spoiler off it's a bit of a mess under there. :cry: It was attached with self tappers through the tailgate. Can anyone give me an idea of what I should expect to pay to get the holes filled in and it repainted before I get some quotes. Its the same on both sides. Will they weld up the screw holes?

I applied primer to my headlight panel today. Did what I thought was the correct prep - washed itm keyed it, sprayed 3 light coats. Anyway I tried scratching it earlier, after it had dried and I managed to scratch some off. Does this mean I didn't do it right? Or would you expect it to come off if you started scratching at it like a weirdo?

Hi guys, finally ordered my 555 Nismos, boost jets and eprom for ECU. Installation is due just before Xmas. Not quite sure about the "how to´s", though. I think I saw detailled instructions about how to change fuel injectors on the web before, maybe even in this forum. Could not find it using the "search", though. Anybody can help with the link? just recently purchased 300zx turbo which is great. Slick petes hooked me up with some bits. Just noticed my speedo doesnt seem to work that great, the clocks arn't in kilometres,mileometre is, they've obviously been changed .Any ideas anybody??

Had my zed on the rolling road yesterday and she was 282.8 bhp at the engine and 301.7 lbf.ft of torque.I have a fmic,4 inch straight through exguast and induction kit,cooler sparkplugs. Still running standard boost and standard turbos but i thought the bhp should have been more am i wrong? The car is running very rich and could have leaks could this be the problem? Any ideas would be great Cheers

Need to find the starter motor relay anybody know where it is and what colour? :) Fitting an alarm and I need to wire into the drivers door pin, I think it means the open and shut door switch but am not sure? what do you recon? cheers

Got an early start today installing my HID kit. Went really smooth at first, thought I'd be writting about now anouncing I had set a world record for 300zx headlamp removal and HID installation! That was until I got to the last two bolts under the wheel arches that took me an twenty minutes each... Well everythings out now and I am cleaning the lights as reccomended. I noticed on each of the dipped beams there is a piece of sheet metal that sits between the bulb and the lens and covers the bottom half of the lens, it seems to me that this is blocking a good part of the light. Is it wise to remove this bit or will it cause some problem with the way the light refracts or ma…

Just got a HKS t piece to fit a hks water temp gauge was going to fit in the top hose but i looked at the hose and it has no straight runs in it loads of bends .has any one fitted one to the top as this is a more acurate reading than the bottom hose .thanks :cool:

I have just acquired a light up rear panel.... that doesnt! :cry: LOL Simple enough reason for that is .. no inverter box thing!! the two wires coming from behind the panel are just taped up. :shock: Grrrr! does anyone know where to get one, how to make one etc??? Or even have one for sale??? Any help /info appreciated. I have no idea on this one. Help!!! Maybe one of you lot has nicked it ???? :rofl:

Are the Uk and Jap spec's a different size? as in Uk bigger? if so how much bigger? big enough for an upgrade/improvement?

This thread has probably appeared before but I am a newbie so I am surely allowed to mention it! Ok, so I'm slowly rebuilding the Z, buying lots of new nuts, bolts and clips etc. What I really want for the front, is to replace the U-nuts that clip onto the corner splashgaurds. Also the screws (with captive washers) that secure the front bumper to these splashgaurds by way of the U-nuts. Nowhere in the UK seems to sell them these in Stainless steel...any ideas? Screwfix won't even throw up a search on U-nuts. These things.

...anyone with the electronic parts catalogue... could they check what size the clips and screws are that secure the corners of the bumper to the splash trays? I think the clips are number12 (also what are the names of these...washer clips??? Screw clips??). But can't be sure. Want to try and replace mine with stainless fixings. Cheers
