Ive noticed that most decat pipes are 2 and half inch .Is there any gain in having 3" ones made up or does anyone sell them.Also can you get jap made decat pipes for the zed all ive ever seen are phnw and megan racing de cats for sale. thanks :cool:

Just wanted to introduce myself. Got a 90 j spec tt about 6 months ago for the huge sum of £1000, needs some work but nothing major except the head gasket. I'm planning on doing all the work myself with the help of you people (if you don't mind), my mechanic mate and as much money as i can save. I've been trying to source oem parts with out going to the idiot nissan dealer near me or the states, can anyone recommend a good websites??? My accelerator pedal will stick in the up position when driving (it's an auto). I have to push down quite hard and then it goes straight into power mode! Staerting to get a little annoying now1 Does anyone know what the cause is and how to fix it? Andy

I was just wondering what all your opinions on Alloys were. Which are the good brands and which ones to avoid. Ours may look good from far but close up, they not that great and they seem to chip really easily, they are BK racing. We had AEZ ones on our little Astra we had a while back and i thought they were nasty but compared to the BK racing ones they're good. Maybe i just got some from a shite batch?????

I am probably now going to do up the SWB blue TT manual slicktop that I bought a few days ago. It had minor accident damage, but it drives lovely. I would make more money if I dismantled it, but it would seem such a shame to dismantle one of the rare slicktop TT manuals. Anyway, heres the poll........ Please look at photo and tell me 1. Hi have a 91 ZX TT that wont start, changed the plugs to NGK platinum all coil packs fire the plugs when out the engine, changed PTU with another secondhand one, cam belts ok fuel pump appears to be working and smells as if its working??? Please help. Thanks Jay :cry:

the rears on mine are only 245/40/18 :cry: and from looking on here i should be really going for 265/35/18. the prob with this is that i don't know if they'll fit! the rears are 18x9 but the tyres are close the arch as it stands as its lowered on tein coilovers. :dance: the question really has to be should i slightly raise the car (although i think it looks perfect how it sits at the moment), or should i just leave the tyres as is? i've tried to post pics of the rear tyre/arch but the pics i have are too big but you can see pics in my 'rides' section. ;)

Got a few projects to get on with with my week off work (just hope I'm not bunged up with cold still ) Got to strip the old Sony head unit and CD Multichanger out. Take the dash clocks and side pods out, and generally remove loads of interior panels (again :rolleyes: ) All so that I can fit.... A new head unit.... right can i put my seat belts back on the doors as my new interior has them on doors mine hasent they have been changed- they would of been on doors to start with but have been moved how can i tell if the doors are the same and can take the seat belts thanks

hi everyone. i tried fixing my peeled up dash board 2day. but i could'nt take the vent out the top of the dash.i tryed using a screw driver. whats it held in by and has any one had the same problem?how can i get that vent out? :headvswal many thanks Nick

hey gang noticed chris moved seatbelts to the pillars as in the s2 zeds my new interior there on the doors so will have to put them back how can i tell if its still the same doors and i can get the seatbelts back on them thanks tony

i know there is a classified section on here that sells cars, but i have been through it a million times and end up going in circles. Im after a black tt 2+2 preferably with leather. I have searched and looked through all the forums and im fed up with going through cars for sale and the situation changes 3 or 4 times during the tread. Day this week just before the snow, A259 towards Littlehampton from Bognor, might have seen a nutcase in a brand new white Transit, trying to pour a cup of coffee and flashing at the zed. Sorry yes it was me, Didnt recognise the car but modded.

Morning, After my car is sprayed it is going to be undersealed, but I wondered if it's an idea to Hammerite the wheel arches as an extra precaution? It's a UK car and I'm fortunate enough not to have any rust and really don't want any in the future!!! lol Vijay

Hi all, Have noticed this recently, especially after short journeys car tends to have steam/smoke coming from under the bonnet drivers side, however the temp needle stays firmly in the middle, does not raise etc.. i put some water in it just incase.. any ideas what the cause of this could be? i am aware that i do have a slight water leak from the water pump area could it be linked to this.. although saying that when watching the water levels the car drives perfectly on long journeys no faults.. its just done colchester to worthing yesterday.. any ideas what this may be.. help would be appreciated thanks Will

I'm after a cd headunit that illuminates blue (mainly) + red to match my blue-led dash conversion. Nothing too fancy, just plays cd's! Anyone any ideas? I have a JVC unit that is perfectly fine, just the wrong colour! :smash:

I have just purchased a Blitz iD-Power Meter (Phase one... Phase two will be the Blitz SBC-iD Boost controler to match) The meter has one wire connecting to the Speed Sensor pin/cable of the ECU (or speedo) the other two are 12v +/- Can anyone offer an ECU diagram for a 92 JAP TT or indicate which cable it is likley to be behind the instrument panel.. ECU diagram.. As well as keeping for reference My logic being... If I had the ECU pin diagram then I can take a look at the ECU harness and locate the correct cable behind the instrument panel.. regards B.

Right, i have a 1993 Fairlady twin turbo.... Everynow and again when i put my foot down and it starts to accelerate an orange light comes on which says "power". Is this some sort of traction control (i didnt think the Zed had TC??) or is there a problem?? It feels restrained when it does it, so it feels a bit like some electronic limiter but i'm not sure. I have a UK manual for the car but it doesnt list anything in there about this mystery warning light... Please help!!

do these look right after 6 months of being messed around by my mate regarding making my wheel spacers, paul g loaned me his wheel spacer again and i gave them to another mate (a reliable one lol) last night and they are being made as we speak oh and they are being done for free wuwhoooooooooo box of stella on its way to paulg and my mate (just hope they aint empty when they get there)
