Just wondering if anyone's attempted the above? R33/R34 GTRs use a BMC with a larger piston giving better brake force. I believe it fits with little modification. Has anyone done this or seen it being done?

Ok guys, probably should of started this last year when I decided to resurrect my 1993 JDM 300zx Twin Turbo Auto. I said I call the car "Blue Thunder" (mostly just to annoy everyone:tt2:) as it will be loud and blue:thumbup:. You'll have to bear with me as I'm going to use previous posts off this forum for most of the current bits and I'm not "computer super proficient" with adding images etc I'll start at the very beginning if I can remember back that far:lol: (No pics in this quick update) (This is for the benefit of anyone joining after '09) Bought the car in the summer of 2005, a low mileage (42K) 1993 300zx TT auto, within a few months the timing belt …

Right guys, just wanted to know from someone that's fitted them before..What adhesive did you use?? Superglue, silicone or something else?? I'm worried that the superglue might damage / stain the surround and I don't want that. I want something that can stick them but is easily removed if I change my mind (which happens a lot:biggrin:) Thanks

Hi all, my Z has the drivers door lock disconnected, no boot lock and parked with the passenger side up against wall..... The battery has died and alarm of course is dead to unlock drivers door....... Soooooo now I am locked out of the car..... I did have a charger in the car charging the battery but must have knocked the connector off in the boot when I shut it a few weeks ago.... Anyone got any ideas what I can run a 12v feed down to power up car enough to power up alarm and unlock drivers door?? I can only think of the starter, but being so damn low I can't reach it...... ???????????????????????? Cheers

I think it's time for new wheels, just wanted to check my measurements before I get them. Possibly a bit of an unusual choice for a zed, but lkperformance list 18" 3SDM 0.05s in 114.3 so I might give them a shot, I love their retro look and think they'll look awesome, remind me of Modenas which I like on zeds Offsets are +42 for 8.5" and +40 for 9.5" so I believe the conventional wisdom is I'll want 20mm spacers for the front and 5mm for the rear with those to give me +22 front and +35 rear? Or would I need to roll my arches for that? I'm running on Tein lowering springs which I think are a 35mm drop at the front and 21mm at the back. I'd love to run 9.5" …

I was researching how to replace the cambelt and I read that if you have an auto, to remove the crankshaft bolt you need to take the starter motor out?? Surely there is a better way to sieze the engines rotation.

Hi there My dad has a UK dealer supplied 300ZX auto in white which he has had from new since 1991. Mileage from memory is around 15k and its like new It's an odd one with such low mileage but I wondered where its value would be now. Would I be right I'm thinking around £10k?

Hello, Working on a 1990 Z32 TT project car and looking for polybush kits. Saw a full package on ebay for £175 for the Z31 which included droplinks and the anti-roll bar bushes (all of which I need due to cracking). I've seen individual kits at the ZCentre for the Z32 but does anyone know of full kits? Would be nice to have everything ready/spares in stock Cheers

Hi all, Purple Rain came to its demise on the 12th of November 2015 after it was hit at 5am on the hard shoulder by an HGV. The reasoning for stopping in the first place was because I had complete loss of oil pressure and then a full stall of the engine. Bummer ! Anyways as the insurance was luckily a complete pay-out I wasn't too worried. Over the last week I've been stripping the zed and today I drained all the fluids from the gearbox and then the engine. Gearbox went great and out came nice new looking oil. The engine on the other hand gave me a bit of a shock as when I removed the sump plug out came at least 2 litres of water. :( …

Well not quite. I just got back from a trip in Japan. Didn't manage to spot any z32s but I was lucky enough to ride the Shinkansen, I was quite surprised when I took a photo of the front, look familiar to anyone?

We're into the new year and i thought I'd post an update thread, my previous thread, all about issues wasn't what i really wanted to post but I was desperate to get her sorted. I'll get this out there now. The reason i am broke is purely down to the fact I could see what performance this old girl still had, she had been neglected by her previous owner. Infrequent servicing, neglect of general running gear. I have poured every free coin into the car and slowly seeing her true potential. My master cylinder went, days after i had spent a lot of hard earned on changing the exhausts, prop bearing, tension rods...a small list of parts basically. I found that Delphi …

Happy new year to you guys! I have replacement gear link bushes in hand but i was looking online to see how to fit them. I ran a search through this site but couldn't see anything. Could someone link to me to a decent guide as to how to do this? Or, if someone was feeling generous, I'd quite happily pay (and make tea) for anyone willing to come and show me how. Mike

OK, so it appears the gaskets between my centre and rear sections on my Greddy/Trust exhaust have expired. Does any one know where I can get replacements, and secondly, could I use other make gaskets instead?
