how much would a good clean secondhand rear subframe cost from an atuo cost because of my other thread hicas removal?

After I have changed the crank and install new belts, Now when i turn the steering it makes a horrible noise like a squeel. Would it the a loose belt?

planing to remove the aiv sytem but going to stick to the removal of the carbon canister for now but would like to know two things. firstly because im about to pull engine because of tub almost everything is disconnected so cant run the car at present. 1st qusetion shall i wait untill the engines back in and running or do it whilst out and secound question is will the removal upset anything like the ecu chip because because the car has an aftermarket chip in because of ebc has been fitted .bassically the car was running spot on before and dont wont to upset anything when plug back in???? cheers.:)

I'm replacing the polythene vapor sheet that are stick to the door beneath the door cards. Has anyone got any suggestions for a suitable adhesive similar to the black sticky stuff that Nissan used. I could use a black silicone but i don't think it will stick to the polythene too well.

Hi 300 lovers,well its a sad head ach day,THE STORY IS Ive been getting a tapping niose from my engine for the last mounth,first i was told bottom end :hurl:, then told cams,then told valves lifters,now after getting good help on the forum,it seem to be more than liokey valves lifters as the 300 are pron for this prob,so once again i went and got another opp from a former 300 lover,and as soon as he herd the engine he says bottom end :cry:. After speaking to a few more people on the forum,i find there not many ways of telling this unless the engine comes out :cry:. hi guys, had left my zed for a couple of weeks and battery was flat, fob wouldn't unlock doors, thought it was the end of the world. came on here searched some old posts had the car open in ten mins. suppose what i'm saying is what a wealth of knowledge at a click of a button. many many thanks

gonna be changing this, is there a How 2 for doing this? also is there a way of getting the door card off without damaging it, its one with the seat beats on the door.

Just removed the OEM fan and was left with the viscous part on the pulley. I tried to remove this as well but ended up rounding of a couple of the nuts. Does anybody have any ideas how I can get these off please. Thanks. Ant

was reading on an different forum, the importance of good breather system. was thinking of checking mine is all ok. do many of you on here block any valves/pipes or anything, and route them into catch tanks? and use oil breathers? what goes where, and why for? im not very clued up on this topic, have read several posts but still am none the wiser ???

A quick question. My split rims are off for refurb and are 90% complete. He is now bolting them back together. Unfortunately (doh) he didn't note which had the bigger offset front or rear. As a rule of thumb what usually has the bigger offset on our cars front or rear. I need to call him tomoz (sat) so he can start putting them back together. Cheers Mike

Hi all, just wondering what sort of price i would expect to pay to get an electronic boost controller fitted . Dont want to piss about with it myself ill f@@k something up thats my luck. Or if theres anyone in the south wales area thats fancys earning a few bucks to fit it let me know.

what are the readings in on evc 4? I do not wish to fiddle with things as they are running great and was fitting on the car 5 years ago in japan by the looks.hks evc 4 on the lcd reads 0.7 low and 0.8 hi settings are these in bar?(bar seems to be more likely) or kpa? cheers in advance also anyone have a pdf of set up

When I put my engine back in I bypassed the stock boost solenoids as one was faulty! Now I am only getting 0.6bar with no boost leaks as I tested for boost leaks today. I connected the pressure feed pipes directly to the wastegates and plugged the other two pipes to the turbo inlet. I have a feeling I should have tee'd these Doh! Doe's this make sense?

my car has been lowered, however, i think it could go down half an inch. my wheels are 9J, and i have 225/45/17 tires. dont want to get the arches rolled, as the wheels will not be wide enough to come to the edge of the arch then. can i just cut the inside of the arch away? as the arch folds in by about 1 inch. dont want my tires to hit the inside of the arch

Almost like a rotary whooshy creaky noise. Not wheel bearing. If I press on the brake pedal hard, it goes away. If I corner hard on a left turn it goes away. I've had the car in the air. Wheel spins very freely, no sounds, wheels / spacers are on tight. No other sign of wear, I've had a very light version of this noise for some time which I could never trace, it went away for a while, but has come back again now and louder. The faster I go though, the less the noise can be heard, ie road noise cancels it out. There's no vibration through the steering either.
