Such a nice day, thought I'd wash and polish my baby. And then had to go somewhere and take a few pictures. Took about a bazillion in the end, plus some chap wandered over to ask if I was selling it! :nono: I had to tell him that actually I was a saddo and was just taking some pictures for the hell of it. He reckoned his mate has the only Stage 2 Zed in the country, specially imported from Japan! I told him about Mac's and he went a bit quiet after that  Anyway- pictures. I'm especially chuffed with the reflection one and 300ZX visible at the bottom :D

Hi mate, I've lost your number (again :( ). Any chance I could grab the spare Japshow stand pass off you if it isn't taken? Talked the missus into driving up in the zed so would be nice to get it on the stand. Regards Dave

Dunno if many of you have done this before but it involved taking the whole targa top apart. Nasty. I got to the bit where I had to unscrew the screws that keep the rubber on the aluminium (http://s95014253.onlinehome.us/63104/13701.html - part 6) and one of the screws had rusted itself to tiny iron filings. Although the other side of the screw was fine so I just couldn't undo it. Made the whole job a right bugger. Anyone else find that there's always something totally stupid hindering you when the job should be very straightforward? I also changed my yellow wing repeaters for clear ones and the slot for the bulb holder is different so I had to chop the old one off …

A while ago Jeff TT posted a Top Tip regarding how to eliminate the smell, and bacteria, from your Air-Con system. Here if you want it! Well I've been trying to obtain an spray can of this stuff, I found a couple of companies that supply it, but hadn't got around to buying it yet. When i was in Halfords the other day I just happened to spot , what i thought at the time, was a can of this stuff. Well it was, in sorts. What you do is set the Air-Con onto recirculate, put the fan on full blast, push the passenger seat fully forward, close all the windows, place the can on the rear passenger footwell, press down the spray button (which locks into place) and exit the car…

Took the Zed for a little blast out to Bracknell and back with the Targa's off and windows down. Hubbie beside me and the turbos ingaged, who could ask for more. The beautiful deep brrr of that engine and the racing the TT up the dual carriageway bit pure sex. Yes as you can guess I'm loving my new acquisition   Mind you I burnt my arm before hand on the hot targa as I was giving it a wash and wax. Won't do that again in a hurry. :( Still all in all not a bad Zed day  :)

Has anyone heard of Chip Foose? He is a customising god in the states and has his own line of products. What I would like to know is if I can get his wheels in the UK. I found a place in Ireland but they never return my emails, so I thought I would ask you lot. Cheers, Scrawn.
