Hey forum' For research purposes i am interested to know how many members have cars that were fully tuned when they left japan. i.e. A 300TT with a Jun Auto 'full engine build' and tune or example an Afblug complete engine.........? Amuse prepared 300zx anyone? Chris C

Hi guys, I need some help here. My car has been declare a total loss by the Insurance repair shop following a little accident caused by so weirdo middle-aged man who fled the scene - that is not the problem for me at the moment. My worry is that I just pumped some 5k into the car last year with engine rebuild and new turbos. Got a call from the insurance this morning wanting to take the car for scrapping! Hell no, I said. they reckon its not economical to repair for them, they would prefer to scrap it! What do guys think I sould do? thanks, adef

I'd looked into doing this on my old Astra Cabriolet as I'd gotten bored with the V6 engine that I'd fitted. Anyway, a chap I know from another forum is now in the process of fitting a 5.7 LS1 engine into his Astra Coupe. I have bee told that any movement of large sums of money like 10k upwards and the banks automatically stick their nose in and shop you to inland revenue/customs etc so they can try and find out why you have that money. Is this true?

I was just about to book a flight to San Diego at the end of next month. Was intending on spending 2 weeks out in Southern California, possibly popping into Mexico too for a few days...BUT, I've just remembered I have an ISA. Was just going to pay for the lot out of my current account, but have since thought about going back to my original plan of still going to California, but also hiring a car out and driving up into Arizona and towards Death Valley and to go and see the Grand Canyon. But the dilema is, I also want to spend some more on the 300ZX....but I also want to leave some cash in the pot. Not sure what to do. HELP! Want to book a flight tomorrow…
