Hi guys, If this isn't suitable for here then let me know! My friend has an RX7 which he has owned from new, 1998, 40k miles, manual, Twin Turbo, white, no rot etc.. Hasn't been started in 6 years as he has been away with the Army. Currently needs a new clutch so isn't driveable, but he has offered it to me and I can't quite put my finger on how much it would be worth... Currently sits in spain as he was living out there for a short while, but is registered in the UK still. will cost me £500 to get it back here, but am wondering whether it is worth bringing it back and restoring it or selling it on as is :s... Never normally have a problem with water build up but the storms has flooded us, it was just about to go in the pulsar had to quickly drive it up the road to higher ground, it was just about to come in the house so had to open our side gate to let it down the garden which then flooded the garage out, my welders jacks loads of other bits in one of my tool boxes These pics are just before it got to its worse Guttered loads of tools ect will be ruined but least it saved the house :(

I wanted to add a larger second SATA drive to my PC so took out the Western Digital WD5000 AAKS-00UU0A0 drive out of the ESATA casing I had. I assumed I could just throw it into my pc as a replacement second SATA drive. I've hit a problem though as it won't format. When I first put it in, it all recognized fine, I could access the drive and move files. So I used the drive copy function in Acronis True Image 2013 to copy all my windows files onto the 500GB drive. When it finished and I booted the drive, even though it recognized it on boot up, it wouldn't boot into it (something about the DMI pool I think it said). I booted back into my original drive and I could see …

Well! Who's had theirs yet? Ours arrived at about 7 this morning. Very spectacular and I think the thunder was about the loudest I've ever heard! It's getting all dark again now. Think it's gearing up for round 2 :biggrin:

I have bought some alloy wheels on ebay and not received them yet. Bought them last Tuesday and not heard from the seller since :cry: I may be a bit premature worrying about them its just he was very helpful up to the point I payed and then nothing since. Ive asked for an update on the delivery just so I can arrange for someone to be at home as I work but no answer. Anyone know anything about data recovery from a 500GB WD My Book? Died whilst transferring files onto it and now Mac won't recognise it. Tried removing the HDD and using a SATA docking station but same result. No other backups so need to save this!! Before dismantling it and trying the docking station, I did cool it, use different cables, restart bioth it and my mac and no joy. The lights come on, it makes noise, etc and I see it in Disk Utility but it won't 'mount'. I read that the USB port on the case is a common fail on these so tried the docking station but am getting the same results. It's still being recognised by the Mac but just not 'mounting' …

we have all done it and bikers do it more apparently let me warn you so you dont fall into the same trap as me, when you sell a vehicle do not hesitate to phone your insurance company and tell them you have sold it and to put your insurance on hold, also get a reciept of a signed doc saying you have sold vehicle im currently payiong £1300 a year for my 1.6 focus, i sold the M3 last year, it was a bank holiday weekend and i sold it on the sunday, i had a vehicle to replace the M3 but wasnt getting it till a few days later, i decided to leave the phonecall to the insurance company till i got the new car and swop it over to the new one so i wasnt phoning them twice…

Ive recently aquired a large box of classic car parts all brand new in the box. Bosch and lucas parts mainly. The problem I have is how the hell do you find out what car they're off. Im guessing theres some moneys worth here. Have some small quater windows. Light lens assemblys lots of chrome work. All in their own boxes with some sort of serial numbers. But I cant seem to fnd them on the internet anywhere.
