I've got a mate visiting me for a weekend in 2weeks who's bringing is Aston Vantage S so we were hoping to go for a long drive to get some decent pics/vids with my Go Pro and generally have a day out (hopefully in the sun) enjoying our cars! Thing is, I've not lived in Croydon for that long so don't know of any decent roads yet. Does anyone know of any good driving roads? Any recommendations? I'd be happy to drive a fair way for something decent and out in the countryside! Google hasn't been too helpful so far

I have a couple of vehicles with 'private' plates but are currently on SORN & not mot'd. Is there a way to transfer number without going to the expense of MOT & any associated repairs to make donor cars roadworthy?

On the 31st of July 2012 we reached the current record of online users at 202 people. For a bit of fun I say this year we attempt to break that record.:shifty: So I'm campaigning everyone to get online at the same time on the 31st of July which is a Wednesday. Lets show everyone who's got the most active 300zx club out there.:punk: Ill get some banner made and put into rotation as a reminder but if everyone puts this 31st into there diaries. If everyone gets on about 8pm let's smash our record.

Always worth digging up this clip from a few series ago - the Aston Martin DBR9 race car being taken for a power lap by the 'Ben Collins' Stig. What an absolute beast, and that noise...!!

  16. An incident earlier has given me reason to raise this question to my fellow Z drivers. Would you mount a kerb to let an emergency vehicle through? Earlier on I was stuck in traffic when I heard sirens approaching from behind me. As usual you see people mounting the kerb to let him through however I was in the Z and mounting the kerb would have taken my front bumper off due to the ride height. So I decided just to get as close to the kerb as possible without damaging an alloy. Because of the guy on the other side of the road (BMW X5) not being able to mount the kerb because there wasn't one the ambulance could not squeeze past us both. Now at this point I was getting …

  18. Hi, In November 2012 I purchased a Desk charger for a new mobile phone I got my then fiancee for christmas. This was purchased from the biggest online retailer named after a rain forest:whistling: The item went faulty and I have contacted the website who now say that it was sold by someone else through them and they are not responsible in any way.... On 29th July a representative of the website agreed to email the supplier and would give me a refund for the product if the supplier didn't sort it out..... Now the website claim they won't abide by the promise made to me the day before and NO refund will be considered... I have quoted the sale of goods act 1982 and b…

In my garage I have a regular light socket for your typical incandescent light bulb. Now I'm wanting to fit a strip light in there instead to offer slightly more light and a larger angle of spread, so II'm going to get a strip light fitted. Before I do, I remember seeing a product a few years ago that was basically a long strip-light chassis with a bayonet fixing that you could simply put into the existing socket, thus turning your normal light socket into a strip light chassis. Anyone remember these? I know it's not difficult changing the chassis over, but just wondering if anyone has ever seen these?
