General Discussions - Non 300ZX

Its many years since I passed my driving test but have noticed over the past year or so that there are a couple of additions on road signs and I dont know what they are for, mainy on motorway or A roads when coming upto a roundabout, its usually a solid black symbol such as a circle, triangle or square on a yellow background, sometime just a black border of that symbol on a yellow sign and quite often its been stuck on so a new addition to the roadsign, anyone know? just curious guys ;)

Here is my problem, thrown open to all of you to resolve. As some of you may know I have worked a few winter seasons over the last few years. Last winter season I worked in Les Gets and had a fantastic season, and met many wonderful people who are heading back this year. In particular I met a guy from a transfer company who tried to get me to work for him last season, unfortunatley I was commited to another company and decided not to work for him. The Sunday Times has run an article comparing Jenson Buttons car, the Honda RA106 with the 1951 Alfa Romeo Tipo 159 of Juan-Manuel Fangio. The most startling thing is the power that was being extracted from the Alfa. It was a 1.5 litre straight 8 pushing out 425bhp @9300rpm and had a top speed of 190mph. In comparison the Honda is 2.4 litre and knocking out 760bhp @ 18500rpm and a top speed of 225mph. What ever happened to Alfa Romeo in modern times, its sounds as though they had the motoring world all stood to attention then.

Hello everyone I'm aware that the club isnt in contact with Chris Nolan any more. However, he owes me over £200 and I'd like it back! Hi All, Well just been to my car first time since 8am when i got in work today and noticed my front reg. plate has fallen off..didnt notice it come off, i must of been half asleep.. anyway..i cant think of a way to get home without going past any forward facing cameras..just wondering what the implications are with the police if i get spotted. spose i'll have to go straight to halfords to sort a new one tonight..

Nice to see you guys 4 Zeds again this month. :D The two girls I took with me wanted me to say thank you they really enjoyed it. They really liked Bobbies two tone paint job, and they liked looking at our engines and comparing the NA to the Twin Turbo. I think we have 2 young Zed ladies in the making. LOL Not as many cars overall but that's to be expected for the August meet. Red Scoobie spun off right opposite the place I did the previous month. :( He wasn't quite as lucky as I'd been though and damaged his car. Sorry I've no pic's as camera is in the shop. :(

Right lads got a question on subtle hints towards girls!! I never had the car dyno'd before or after so cannot quantify the difference, but it felt smoother, revved higher, and coupled with boost jets will boost higher too. I have some boost jets I can throw in, will have to check their size, or you can use mig welding tips (cost approx 50p each) to raise the boost. For more control you can use a boost controller.
