Why is my avatar picture such poor quality? The original photo is good but I have to resize it down so much to be accepted by the avatar system that the resolution is absolute c**p. Other member's avatar photos seem to look pretty good...how do they do it? Dave

my zed is sick i have just filled up with 99ron from tesco and after ten miles the zed cut out i got it going and it wouldnt rev and cut out. after a few minuites i started it agian but it kept kangarooing i checked for ecu codes and got 55 help

I have recently had to claim on my home insurance for an accident with an old laptop. They are sending me about £400 of PCworld vouchers to cover the old machine (more than fair) and im thinking i should get something to work as a carputer. Thing is, im not sure where to go (due to my indescission really!). I dont have a touchscreen yet and money is a bit tight so dont want to get one unless its the right solution for me. Was wondering about an Ipaq but then it wont run datascan which id quite like in my car (althought probably not use that much if im honest!) Is there any other option i have missed for about £400 other than a laptop or an Ipaq that i could…

Maybe I'm just getting old or something, but it's 1am and some complete /-\$$|-|/-\7 is letting off fireworks. Lots of fireworks. And this really gets up my nose. Admittedly I'm not in bed, I'm working, but that's another story: it's loud enough to break my concentration. And it's August as well!!! Lots of threads and posts at the moment about how much money has been spent on your zeds.. Just want to show you - you are not alone. Many people have spent tons of money on their pride and joy. It is a passion - and all passions cost money. Just think - when your car is finished - how many cars will perform as well - look as good - be as practical or as comfortable as your zed? None - and if there are some cars out there that can match up - you would have to spend £100k more to buy it! So relax - put your mouth where your money is and be proud to show everyone what a good investment your zed was and how much you have put into her.

gents soz to post this in here, having trouble with my pc, im on xp but when i open a folder full of pics jpeg or bitmap i cannot do a slide show, the opening page does not have the slideshow and save and soom in ect icons under the picture it just looks like i have opend a pic from a web page :headvswal on the left where it says picture tasks i click on slide show and nowt happens :confused: but if i have mpeg files and i click play all they all work, i have checked folder options and jpeg is set to open with windows picture and fax viewer but it never seems to work? any help much appreceated dewi.

well me new toy arrives next week after having a some work done by lotus. an original s3 turbo esprit a "g" shape car. To go in i have some skinny seats to replace the full pas seats from an exige and new skewed pedals. its had a full lotus check and full c service interior is mint and so is the exterior!!. arrives Tues so should be ready for a drive weds.. pic or two of the car!! woohoo another one to drive ;)

My car is off to Wales today to be sprayed. You can probably guess from the title what colour!!! Everybody was suggesting different colours etc.... baby pink flip pink glitter bright pink plain pink candy pink..... so the other half has taken it and the first I will know is when it comes back in a fortnight. i have had a 99 spec front bumper put on and all my lights are not how i want the as my zed is uk the indicators are in the middle, i want to rewire my lights to get them to work like the 99 model i will be putting HIDS in. what goes were the uk indicators go is it just fogs or fogs/side lights

No doubt about it Forum Member Stricker is a top bloke on here. Not only did he have a SWB pass window sitting about that I needed BUT ... He brought it all the way up from Kent to Nottingham today on a personal/family visit.. then rang me to say he was in Nottingham so I could go and pick it up.!!
