General Discussions - Non 300ZX

Guys if you had to choose between a honda nsx & R33 gtr which one would it be ??? & a brief explanation, hopefully my next car is one of these

I am thiking of getting a Toyota celica GT4 (the 4wd turbo model) as a daily driver. has anyone here ever had one - what do you think? Either ST185 or ST202. I prefer the look of the older model but with newer model having 255 BHP looks like quite a handy bit of kit. Isn't it the same engine that the MR2 Turbo has - I'm sure that can be tuned cheaply enough to reasonable power. Waddya fink? Please don't say get a scooby - I can't stand them and want a coupe. I just cant think of any other 4x4 turbo coupe that I could pick up for about 3k.

going to look at a 3.0 Turbo Diesel as a daily runner this afternoon. Wondering what the mpg on these are like? I know the petrol are pretty bad but this is the diesel version.

Anyone know where i can get my wheel arches rolled in the North west or Midlands. My New rear wheels are catching my wheel arches as they are wider. Need to have em rolled about an inch.

Stripping everything off a rear subframe and then dismantling the front suspension and crossmember. Oh Joy of joys! Hard to imagine a more uninspiring job? Feck me ...some of them nuts were well tight. :shock: some of the smaller suspension members are now in the acid bath over nite to de-rust/strip them. Looks like the main rear subframe will need to go off to the shotblasters . Looking at the complete Polybush kit I see it contains some totally useless items.. Like rear anti roll bar bushes with the wrong internal diameter... Hmmm.. :slap: good job it was cheap. :rofl: Maybe I will do something a bit more interesting tomorrow, like stay in bed :confused:

Not long back from cruise meet at MFN,aptley named.There was a guy in a Nissan Pulsar who before he left was reving the guts out of it for ages.All he was getting was a fart spark out the end of zorst LOL.Feeling well chuffed at his display he zoomed out the show leaving behind the biggest black oil pool LOL.Some how think that he never got very far. :nono:

just when i thought the zed couldnt suprise me anymore during a spirited run the pipe that runs to the brake servo blew off trying to stop a zed from nearly a ton (on my own track of course)with no servo aint easy.got new clips on now.gf wasnt pleased

Hi people i have been speaking to someone about getting a 300 zx twin turbo on a j reg he wants to swap my vectra 2.2 sri on a 2002 plate its done 63.ooo miles and he wants a stright swap hes car is a 300zx twin turbo firalady or something he said can any one be off any help about theses cars boy theses cars look real hot

Just been on to Goodyear web site and see that the address for them and dunlop is the same, and also have same phone number, could dunlop and goodyear be one and the same. I'm going to see what price's are like now

Would just like to say a big thank you to Mickeyb at ZworX for sorting my zed out. It's had a running problem for the 4 years i've owned it and he diagnosed a couple of faulty injectors. So while it was in he also fitted a chip and boost controller (profec spec b R) and it now runs so smooth and goes like a rocket!! :bow: as some people found out at Brunters. He also fitted me new bling plenum and fuel line kit whilst it was all stripped out. Well done Mickeyb Ivan Pics:

Does this happen often? Got an email froim this place saying password had been entered wrong and account was temporarily locked on the 18th, does this happen often then? Tried an IP locator but all it would tell me was that it was in london. Anyone else had one recently?

went out for breakie this mornin with hubby & little one... ( @ Md's) when i left i drove up to Tesco - got out the car and realised i left my bag there!! Hoped back into the car - back to MD's.. and it was gone! None of the staff knew anything... ARGH! Good bye - bag, purse, cards, cheque book, drivers licence, house keys, fags, smellies... and all the other 1 million things i had in there! HOW FLAMING ANNOYING! CAlled the cops, called the bank - but i just hate knowing someone has my licence with my home address on it, and my house keys! Which twat in the gov. thought, ahhh lets put addresses on licences! I've just seen a snippet of news on the TV regarding wheelie bins. They want to put microchips in bins so they can see how much waste people are recycling, and if they don't recycle enough they get fined!! Yet another way for the government to scam us out of money!! Apparantly, the chips read the weight of the rubbish, how often the bin is used, who it belongs to, where it's located and even the type of rubbish!.....Big brother is watching you.....
