Rented a little Peugeot partner van from europcar rentals on Monday. It's was a 2012 with 28,000 miles on the clock. It was £78 for 3 days with £1000 excess! If I wanted to reduce the excess to £200 I had to pay another £80. I said no thanks as I'm only doing a few short journeys and it will be parked in a secure car park. Took it back today and was told that there was slight scuff/ curb marks on the front wheel trims and that they would be taking the £1000 excess of my debit card and once the vehicle had gone to Peugeot to have new ones fitted I would then get the remainder back! I went fkn ballistic and was close too knocking him out! I did look at the van before …

long story short . driving home from work 40 speed limit , was going through speed camera markings at 35 when it flashed twice, approaching the speed camera at the same time and near the white line on the opposite side of the road was a fast moving vehicle that had set the camera on my side of the road off , question is what the heck do I do about it , or who do I report the incident to. Im not a fan of speeding tickets , especially when im not !! . Cheers Sayers

I've seen some terrible attempts at repairs and home-made modifications etc to 300zxs, but outside of the car-ring, this is probably the funniest thing I've come across. I was sat at the end of Myrtle Avenue near Heathrow watching the planes land before going there to pick up a friend. As I was sat watching what was incoming, I noticed this green gate thing to my right. It had all manner of clumsy welding on it. Just as I was about to glance back over at the undercarriage of an approaching 747, something caught my eye. A shape....a shape of something I recognised, but it didn't compute as it was where it shouldn't have been. Then I realised what it was and why it wa…

What a great day today, a little low on air temperature but wall to wall sunshine, and even after 4.30pm it was still great, in a corner out of the slight breeze and in direct sunshine the temperature was a balmy 16 deg..... what a day, birds singing, sunshine, the lawn greening up nicely the leaves returning to the hedgerows, reminded me why living in the countryside is tops!! Well I made the sensible decision on health grounds to get rid of the 200sx with the vg30dett in, very sad to let it go incomplete but I knew with the next op, new business and house move it will never get finished so a deposit has been taken. It's going to a good home who will finish it off but at least I can say I did the hardest part and got the engine in there and plumbed in! So I still want to track a car and the Z will be to tidy for that so I went for the usual budget track car. BMW E36 323, a steal at £350 and with the tax disc sent back I should get £60 back, runs sweet, high miles but motorway ones with full bmw service history, 8months mot. It's ideal and cheap…

Thought the lastest scam email was of Nigerian or Eastern European origin but a header search shows the last traceable IP address as Hong Kong, guess its bouncing around a bit though as ppl@send.co.uk appears in the trace?? why don`t these peeps use their time on a real job?? spelling mistakes aside it contains the right amount of incentive for the unwary lets hope it fails.
