My very own user name is from the ground breaking 'The Young Ones' and feel it's my duty to start this thread. Thought I'd share one of the many weird things you see in this job and some nice photos too. We got tasked while in transit towards skye to a cliffhanger, I've not had many proper cliff hangers so got my heart going a bit. Long story short we got a wiggle on and were there in 12 mins and searched the bowl they were in. We learned they were deer stalkers and on the third pass I spotted a waving hand. They were dressed in tweed and that real tree cammo and it bloody works. There were 3 of them on a 70 or 80 degree slope at the back of the bowl. The highest was genuinely precarious pretty much clinging to a birds nest with his face. picture taken as we flew away i…

  5. I have been looking for a project for a wee while now, juts something I can rip apart, tune and have some fun on track and seen this on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/131205208513?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Before you tear me apart I would be ripping all the stupid kit and "styling" off of it ! I was wondering if someone can take a gander at it for me, just making sure its not a complete bodge before I stick a bid in. I think a 200+ bhp saxo would be a piss laugh, yes its ghey but still be fast as fook ! :D Beer tokens can be provided :) cheers

Wana get my Zed on the road next week. I've had a few insurance quotes all around £500 which I thought was a bit expensive for what I need it for, it's a wknd car so 1500 miles a year, I've got 8years no claims on another car, I'm 28, only a few body mods on the car. What are you paying at the moment? I've tried sky & performance direct so far, & a few comparison sites which are too expensive. Gona try Flux this wknd.

I'm off into deepest Essex in the morning to pick up my new toy..... It's a little over a year old, has plenty of kit like COMAND Online navigation, cameras which can read the road signs and display the speed limit on the dash, a Harman Kardon surround sound system with 11 speakers and 400 watts.... Oh and a nice 3.5 litre V6 with 306bhp along with the AMG Evolution Sport pack. Richard:hyper:

On the road with bits of a zed rather than the zed itself. Starting off from Troon heading to blackpool just after 1pm then from there heading to meet with our very own znut then its over to lee dents and then a long trip home. Staying at Blackpool overnight to split the trip up but should be a good wee trip.

The zed has to step aside, it will now be my weekend toy as it was originally supposed to be, got a hold of another jap beast! Anyone know what it is, I'd never heard of them before!

  19. Started by Mondo,

Hi everyone, This is Mrs Mondo (she's on the left): She's going to be doing the "Pretty Muddy" Race For Life on Saturday 24th May in Sunderland. Basically, 5k in a mudbath! To make matters worse, she'll be doing it... in a onesie, along with her little sister and some friends! Now where we live, lots of people wear onesies outdoors - usually for going to Asda in. But she's wearing hers for a good cause and she's going to end up absolutely filthy raising money so, if anyone would like to make a donation, the team's JustGiving link can be found here. Pennies or pounds, it all makes a difference :) So yeah, I'm going to have a filthy missus (in an e…

A few quick questions for the bikers - how do paddock stands work? Do they hold the bike at the axle or do I need to fit additional 'bobbins'? And is it best to use both front and rear or is one usually enough in which case is front/rear better than the other? Last question - are the specific to the bike or are they generally a one size fits all? I've been riding my new bike every few days but just thinking about the periods of time when I might not take it out as often I wasn't sure if leaving it on the side stand was good for it. It's permanently covered but is living outside so thought about getting some paddock stands. Cheers!

  25. For years now, I've always felt like Nissan have been missing out on the small car sector. Their range of Micras and Notes is nothing short of miserable and I wondered for a number of years whether they'd release something to compete with the small car sector again. I had hoped they'd revive the 'Pulsar' name over here as it sounds good and is synonymous with performance. Nissan, with their Nismo and sports car lineage could really do well in the small car sector if they designed something sporty and good looking. Nothing has really changed, Astras, Golfs and Focuses are always being churned out, but nothing new. Nissan are about to put the Pulsar on sale. In the US,…
