Has anyone watched this guy on the Discovery channel? he is a fookin loone. he will eat and drink anything in the name of survival, and I mean anything. :hurl: :hurl: http://www.beargrylls.com/ The Guy is certainly made from sterner stuff. here is a peice from his biography.... Biography Every year the death toll on Mount Everest rises, and for every ten mountaineers who make it to the top, one will die. Yet at 7.22am on May 26th 1998, Bear entered The Guinness Book of Records as the youngest, and one of only around thirty, British climbers to have successfully climbed Everest and returned alive. He was only 23 years old. The actual ascent t…

Dont know about you but i'm getting increasingly pissed off with the post in this country and the lack of urgency from people you buy things from. I've spent over £600 in the last 2 weeks on various goodies for the car, mostly off ebay (no comment) I pay instantly and usually go for "Buy it Now" as i am impatient and want stuff yesterday, what has arrived so far? Nothing. I'm still waiting for the front brake discs, over 4 weeks now, they said they went out last monday ( my arse) i mean the 21st, not the monday just gone, never phone me back, i got to call every day to chase them and i've been polite all the way with this company. By the way …

Peeps, Im planning a Driving Holiday/Road Trip for 2009. So far i have chosen 4 places i REALLY want to go to: 1: Le Mans 24hr 2: Millau Bridge 3: Stelvio Pass and surrounding roads 4: The NurburgRing This is pretty much the route i have got so far, which makes quiet a nice circuit. http://routeplanner.rac.co.uk//showrouting.php?map24_sid=SzDyMAm4bGGZ2DLMdXfdwYzxfAF2c2yo8zw/cZHerx/TcqjdIzgNWkYmfjjstVrYeNJxaoX15ueUToIXqpuFUA&t=52999dcd00c1134c04bbd9f3b675c28c Now what i want to ask you educated types, where else is worth visiting. The whole purpose of the trip is the "Driving Experience", nothing but gorgeous roads in a nice car. Now…

Wife forced me to go to the hospital this morning as I sustained a knee injury while playing football last night. Turns out I dislocated my knee but it poped back in trapping a tendon between the femar and the knee cap. So they had to dislocate the knee cap again to get the tendon out then put my whole leg in plaster. So I'm off work for a while and feel totally useless as I can't put any weight on it. Attached a picture for you to have a giggle at.

  19. This is crazy!!! "While the number of babies born to British mothers has fallen by 44,000 a year since the mid-Nineties, the figure for babies born to foreign mothers has risen by 64,000, the BBC reported. This 77 per cent increase has pushed the overall birthrate to its highest level for 26 years. " http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/health/article3274379.ece
