My dad got a laptop for xmas, the buyer has left us now+ no-one knows where it came from. 3 minutes to start, 1 minute to open internet explorer, lots of freezing, going slowly. Bloody thing sends me potty. Its an ACER ASPIRE 3694 WLMI INTEL CELERON M 440 1.86 GHZ, 533MHZ FSB, 1MB L2 CACHE 80GB HDD, 512 DDR2 RAM Has xp home, office 2007 + macafee security+ no games etc. I thought it would work tons faster+ better than my ancient dell inspiron, but mine is soo much faster. :( Does it need more ram?, de-bugging? or just a slap :slap: ?? Choose a suitable word begining with C for the title. Followed a black Bentley GT home yesterday with a really naff looking cut down number plate in italics with the letters crammed in and black screws trying to make it spell something that I really couldn't work out. The kind of thing you expect to find on a really chavved up Corsa. The guy driving it looked about 20. As above the slave cylinder has literally fallen apart. coming of the motorway last night. got to the top of the slip road ond the clutch peddle was on the floor. Ended up waisting most of the day only to discover that the rod from the box has dropped down the inside of the bell housing and the rod from the slave has literally poped right out. Well pissed off. My blue car is in storage and I may not be able to get out till Saturday afternoon, my other Red SWB is in the body shop with no front wings or bonnet and i have lent a friend of mine my bloody pickup truck for the weekend so I may be *****xed for getting to billing this weekend. has anyone else noticed that there are more and more paxo's and other chav cars going round with big holes cut into the front bumper, or the front grille removed, or even (like i saw today) a red escort with the whole front bumper removed!? are these guys pretending theyve got a drift-spec 200sx or something??? theyll never realise that japanese styling will never ever suit a european car!! :nono:

WTF gives, sellers can no longer leave neutral or negative for buyers! I can see a few advantages to that, but i can think of a LOT more disadvantages!!! Like the fact that sellers cannot be truthful about bad buyers anymore! I have had more than my fair share of buyers who do not communicate or who back out of a sale etc etc..... And the only thing that could really be done was to leave neg feedback, now sellers cannot even do that. I for one do not feel that the new system is fair at all! :rant: :rant: :rant: Rant Over :)

my new years resolution was to get in shape as over the last 5 years i have gone up 1 stone in weight and from a 32 waist to 34. plus im getting married in august so i bought myself a multi gym and went on a diet. i have lost over a stone in weight and i'm well chuffed but i'm not happy how the gym is going i can tell the differance in my arms and legs but my stomach isn't as i thought it would be, its flat but i want a six pack/toned i do loads of sit ups (as this is the only thing i know to tone the stomach) and my stomach is very hard but doesnt look that differant. anyone got any tips, i have been on the gym for 6-8 weeks nearly every night and it just seems so slow g…

Well Im not impressed with the Pac Man game, can someone please tell me what Im doing wrong. Hi, Any suggestions on the easiest way of playing MP3 and WMA music files which are on my PC, on my car head unit? Only thing I can think of is writing them to discs or get an MP3 player with one of those radio tuner things that plugs into the MP3 player. Vijay

I had to go on a health and safety course in Glasgow this week and during the course this video was shown. Something thats been running around my head for years is building my own kit car, from scratch not from a kit or someone elses design or anything. Designing my own chassis etc. Dont care if it will pass an SVA test or not cos I'd just throw it on a track when i wanna use it. What im thinking is mid/rear engine. 2 seats 300bhp ish and very very light. Dont care about how it looks, or even if its really crap to drive, just think it would be great fun to do. At the mo I'm thinking MR2 Turbo as a donor car for engine etc. Any ideas you wanna throw in the pot of what I should use?
