I found exactly what i was looking for for a great price. Its a 1997 Isuzu Vehicross 3.2 V6 ! Its a fresh import and has no rust what so ever, paint is imaculate. They are sporty on the road and amazing off road. As its an import i need to get as much info about the car as i can, for instance the sat nav won't work here but i want to keep the built in head unit as it has a reversing camera so i need to fins new software etc etc Its based on the SWB Isuzu Trooper so parts aren't and issue and there is a vehicross forum in the US that i've been using. I pick it up in 2 weeks :D

  5. Started by crotchrocket,

I just got 2 insurance quotes for the Isuzu. The protected price was £200 more than un protected. I suppose its a question of risk as to wether its worth it but i don't think its is worth another £200!!

I had a meeting scheduled today with a big potential customer but yesterday he postponed it  So I think, there is someone else I can schedule a meeting with at 8.30 this morning instead. I set out from Cardiff at 7.30 this morning, traffic grinds to a halt 4 miles from home as the M4 is shut due to an accident . I ring the guy to say I will be there late, maybe 10.30, an 1 1/2 later at 9.30 I am another 5 miles down the road but not past the accident, I decided to take a sneaky route and manage 5 miles in 25 minutes - a result compared to the past 2 hrs. Then a horrible noise starts coming from the engine (V6 TDi Audi A4):mad: I coast to a halt in a pu…

I have been watching All this Tv show's, Street Wars/Brit Cops/Night Cops etc etc, and they have shown me that we must have the largest drinking/violence culture in europe if not the world. in almost every Town/City in the UK, It's always kicking off, with piss heads just wanting to fight or attack other people for no reason, other than they are pissed and they can. I was a Doorman for many years, and I left coz I got fed up of pissed up idiots just wanting to cause bother for nothing. The social scene in this country is disgracefull. what ever happened to going out clubbing for a drink, a laugh and a dance, then walking home with a Pizza. :( [YOUTUBE]IK74B0V96eA[/…

In light of the apparent death of the new build construction industry and my subsequent loss of business, I have started the depressing process of applying for jobs. As many of you know, and some have witnessed, I am a keen valeter/detailer so this is the avenue I'm going to pursue first. I have today made two applications for quite desirable jobs in this field - so please keep your fingers crossed for me!! With positive vibes from all my forum buddies (on here and elsewhere) I might just get the result I need :D

I'm an avid cycler and in the summer months, cycle 24 miles per day to and from work. I've been doing this on a 1992 GT I Drive 4 mountain bike, and can tell you that 24 miles in nobbly tired, with full suspension that can't be locked out is hard going. So I have taken the plung and ordered myself: A Specialized, Sirrus Pro Carbon Hybrid/road race bike. Managed to pickup last years model for £999.99. Best of all, as I'm doing this on a cycle to work scheme so will save 43% (the bike will cost me £570 over the next 12 months). Now I'm not into saving the planet, don't by into the whole Global Warming business (that it's become), and am not worried abo…

I work for a large housing assoc and am sort of a multi taskerm but today was priceless. I turn up at a house to replace 4 x 6x6 fence panels. Out i go to the garden and the family say "u ok with dogs" no worries, in the garden is a huge black St bernard called Dave, covered in slobber, he lets me in the garden and ive met him before, after doing 2 of the panels, get to the third only to find that something is jammed underneath it in the mud, i discover a large pink thing (the type from Ann Summers) having a chuckle to myself, the family in the house are unaware. I kick it out of the way as im not touching it, into the next door garden. Dave is snoozing on the patio. …

I got a new set of wiper blades on my car on E Bay. I think they might be too big because they hang over the edges a little, but I don't care, they work great and I would have to say that they are the only blades I have ever had that I actually like to watch working. Call me crazy, but lately I have been driving around non-stop with them on. I've even been pulled over and the cop asked to go for a ride so he could watch them work. They were outrageously expensive (being French), but safety is my main concern and like I said, they work great. Let me know if you would like a pair for your car. Details below...... …

A car has skidded off the road in eastern Germany and landed on the roof of a church. Police said the vehicle was travelling at high speed when the collision happened in Limbach-Oberfrohna on Sunday. The 23-year-old driver missed a bend in the road and drove through a railing before careering up an embankment and flying 35 metres through the air. Emergency workers had to free the man who was taken to hospital for treatment.:eek: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/7851012.stm
