General Discussions - Non 300ZX

My last two zeds were my daily drivers, back when I was the envy of all my friends lol, but now I kinda like the fact this one is kept as a toy and comes out only now and then. Feels much faster and you can appreciate it more that way! :yes: I also own an Alfa 156 which is my daily car now, I love it, just had the cambelt changed as it was overdue (prevention is better than cure!) and in the last 15k miles its needed only a front pipe and bulb for the MOT. :clap: So what other cars do you lot own, and where does your zed fit into the equation? :thumbup:

I feel that i am slowly becoming addicted to this forum, and find myself checking back every 5-10 mins. Going straight for the new post button to get my fix :blushing: Am i the only one who logs off only to find that i have logged myself back in no longer that 10 minutes later to see whats going on? I know its not a particularly bad addiction, but i was just wondering if it was just me. At the moment in our house (me and the other half) we run 3 cars and 2 bikes and pay for all the insurances individually. I am on the look out for a MK1 VW Caddy at the moment too (might have found one) and I'm thinking that there must be a way of having one policy that covers everything without needing to be a trader. Is there such a thing?

I was thinking of having a bit of a club camp out at my place in the summer. I live in between Winchester, Southampton, and Portsmouth. I have a big garden for everyone to camp in (well enough for a fair few) and some woods with a big open space for a camp fire and Hog roast kind of thing. We could all talk Zeds get pissed and make a good night of it all, I could get the Mrs to do a party style buffet and maybe have a bit of a rave up. Thoughts?

Hi, I`ve just treated myself to a Digital SLR camera, Love it to bits, but does anyone know how i turn the lcd scrren on when i take a picture? I can view the picures taken, the menu comes up on the lcd, but no picture on the screen when i take a picture :ohmy: Thanks Daz.

Hi Camera buffs, How much difference does it make to the camera when a fast memory card is installed? I have a 512mb Kingston compact flash at the moment about 3 years old and I am thinking of getting a 4gb ultra speed,would this make a difference to speed shots? any suggestions or good site`s to get them from? kind regards Darren. :wink:

I spoke to my boss earlier today, we were ment to be dong a team building thing this comnig weekend but have cancelled it due to awkwardness with one of the reps so we didnt actually book anything... Anway long story short he asked me to look at organising it and doing something. Problem is I really dont know where to start as to what to do. There will be like 6 of us (small company!) :cursing: yesterday morning woke up to a text from my neighbour saying did you know davids lorry had been graffed!!!!!! i thought she was lying as she can be a bit of a wind up but nope!!! she was right some little or big prick had come along in the night and sprayed graffitti all over the passenger side door of the lorry :cursing: wasn't very amused at first i thought it might have been the ex or one of his friends having a revenge moment but then it came to light that we wasn't the only ones hit!! another van down our road was done and in the next road 2 cars and alot of wall space were covered too. have these pricks nothing better to do with their time grrrrr…

just watched the first episode last night and cant wait to watch the other two today. was worried that is wasnt going to be able to live up to the expectations after all the talk about it but i loved it. i always find that if you can watch something all the way through without wondering how long it has left then it has been a good watch and thats how i was last ight the 50 odd mins flew in. anyone else been watching it?

Finally I've made my mind up and decided to take out a new contract with Orange and have a new phone as well (old contract expired in Feb, but couldn't decide what i wanted to do) Well first of all I've lowered my package as I was spending £30 per month and getting 600 mins talk time and unlimited texts which I simply wasn't using, so I've now got 100 mins talk time (with another 100 mins free ;) ) and they've still given me unlimited texts all for only £15 per month. And the best part of it I could still have the phone I wanted, which is the HTC Tattoo Ink, which runs the Android operating system. It has Google maps on it and also uses Google Street View....... …
