Evening all, I have a Dell D610 laptop that's not working and I hope someone here could point me in the right direction..... Symptoms.... Firstly it froze and had problems switching it off. Then when switched back on again the following day all three lights lite, then turned off. So I did a search on net and after following various leads I decided that the motherboard was shot. So guaranteed working, used, laptop base (case, motherboard, fan) assembly was obtained and I've just fitted the old ram, processor, heatsink, hard drive, DVD drive and screen and turned her on....... All three lights come on, go off then the Caps Lock light starts to flash for about 1…

Collecting the zed from the garage tommorow, I have taxed it online but will not have a tax disk for a few days. Just my luck I will get pulled by the plod so is it fineable?. I mean technically it is Taxed?

Manufacturers then started proper rustproofing treatment & better build quality to prolong life so cars would last say 20/30 years. Then sophisticated electronics were introduced to make cars 'better'/ 'safer' but this has lead to cars being perfectly serviceable from a rust perspective but being scrapped because it's not economical sense to spend several hundred pounds on replacing parts on a car worth, say, £1500. OK, so buying the Rover 820 Vitesse Coupe may of been a mistake, considering how dissapointed I am with it. The car in general has been fine, I just don't like how harsh the ride is or the fact that I've had so much bad luck with it (and please don't just say, well it's a Rover what do you expect, because the problems could of been on any car!;) ).... Went out straight after work last night with my flatmates to watch the England match and ended up having a pretty large night. Got back to the flat around 3am to find it's been robbed!! All the stuff is everywhere. Whole place was upside down. They didn't take the bigger items - tv, playstation, xbox, etx - but they did take laptops, cameras, ipods.....AND MY CAR KEYS!!
