I have an old Motorola SLVR phone and like the fact it beeps every 5-10 mins if I have an unread text/missed call. Looking for a replacement and wondering if any of the newer phones have this feature, most of the time the phone is left in the car, so dont want anything to expensive. Thanks Barry.

I have a set of front pads from an 03' micra 1.0, was wondering if they will fit a note (1.4, can't remember the year), just curious, they are both toy town cars, and the pads are here in my cupboard and my mate wants me to do his brakes tomorrow, might be able to save him a few quid...

I have seen a private plate that i like. Its around £500 and the £80 fee and vat on top. Is the £80 fee for them to sort out all the detials with the dvla etc?? what about my v5 Will i have to buy plates or would they come with the paper work etc? Also i would need to tell my insurance. what about my tax disc because this will have my old reg on. Ive never bought one before so i dont have a clue?? cheers :)

What I'm after is a set of four, 25~30mm hubcentric wheel spacers for my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Have found plenty in the US but given the crap exchange rate and high shipped weight of the b*ggers I'd rather buy them in the UK. I have googled and bing'd but can't find anyone in the UK who supplies there. So I might have to go down the custom manufacturing route. The question is, does anyone know a company that will CNC these for me to my specification and at a reasonable price? I might be a…

Evening all, I have a Dell D610 laptop that's not working and I hope someone here could point me in the right direction..... Symptoms.... Firstly it froze and had problems switching it off. Then when switched back on again the following day all three lights lite, then turned off. So I did a search on net and after following various leads I decided that the motherboard was shot. So guaranteed working, used, laptop base (case, motherboard, fan) assembly was obtained and I've just fitted the old ram, processor, heatsink, hard drive, DVD drive and screen and turned her on....... All three lights come on, go off then the Caps Lock light starts to flash for about 1…
