The other evening, some daft twunt managed to hit my Z4.... It was parked in my office parking space - this idiot was being chased by the police and managed to scrape the near side front end, when he pulled over😪 The police didn't do much, they just made him leave a note - which the driver then removed after the police left the scene. He even had the balls to return and try to polish out the damage he caused!!! Luckily I have CCTV at work, so I captured the whole thing on camera. I have been using my Zed all week, so last weekend, I washed the BMW and squeezed it into my garage. It's a little bit wider than the Zed, but I have become quite adept at tucking it in tightly - although I have to switch off the park assist, as the damn thing keeps hitting the brakes 😄 Gonna be fun getting it out LOL!!

Not mine - I have a loan car whilst the Z4 is sat awaiting a part from Germany. It's a 530e hybrid, it felt a bit weird at first, but got better after a few miles (once the battery died and petrol power kicked in - LOL). Nice car though, albeit a little big; but I can't say I'll be rushing to switch to anything electrified in the near future 😄 That said, I could have been given a worse courtesy car, for what could be up to a week 😉

Why is is that you just cannot contact these people?? I have been selling a lot of old stuff on Ebay, after clearing out the loft and garage. One such item was a set of 300zx car mats - they were sold to a buyer in the Croydon area. All went well, the parcel was delivered - or so I thought..... .....Turns out that whilst in the Evri hub, a new label was printed and attached to a different parcel, which got delivered to my buyer. Visiting a new client yesterday and when i arrived i got invited into the warehouse for a quick chat. On entry to the warehouse i saw about 15 classic motors ranging from an old morgan to what looked like a 90's style F1. But as i turned around my jaw suddenly dropped and my childhood wet dream was made a reality. Behold a fully working replica of the Knight Industries Two Thousand otherwise know to all as K.I.T.T. I got a full tour and also a quick sit down inside to experience this 1 to 1. Wow, so many buttons and everything had a purpose and was fully working.

I'm glad it's over now though and am pleased to announce I have reverted to my usual facial-hair free (3 day stubble aside) look. I bought some Autoglym Rapid Ceramic Spray the other week, so after washing my Zed I gave it a wipe over with it.... .....And I can highly recommend it!! Really easy to apply and wipe off - just like a detailing spray - gives a nice shine and it repels water pretty well too. Excellent product to refresh your existing wax or ceramic protection between proper applications. And another excuse to post some shiny Zed pics ? I also applied it to Julia's Rangie too and attach a couple of pics for comparison.

I have never seen one of these before but saw 2 of them today!! I thought they were some kind of variation on the S12 Silvia but when I got home did a bit of google image search. Anyone know much about them, look like Nissans answer to the AE86 but assume they were fwd?

So I’m looking to get a new family wagon. I’ve been looking at the new VW MultiVan, which really floats my boat. I could get it through the business books, got 6 seats and is hybrid (not overly important but as I already have a charging station at home it seems like a sensible idea as the wife doesn’t do much more that 10 miles a day). Anyway the father in law was talking about the Toyota Alphard and I remembered the Nissan Elgrand. Does anyone have any experience with these, recommended forums (both proper and Facebook)?
