Starting a new project this summer thats been stored away in the garage for a few years. An old rubber bumper MGB GT has been sat there gathering dust and rot and its time to get something done with it. We've decided to turn it into something a bit different and have fun with it instead of a traditional resoration project. So instead of an engine rebuild we are going to transplant a 1.9 engine and gearbox out of a BMW 318ti, should see 8 seconds or less to 60. Cand…

Was out in my Bmw, driving down the road when somebody waiting in a side road edged forward. BANG! He pulled out! It all happened so fast, but i could see him pulling out, just thought he hadn't looked, and would stop when he saw me. Good job i sweared as he got the side of my car and rubbed all the way down. If i hadn't, he would probably have caught the front of me and loads more damage! Nobody was hurt, so im not bothered, a car can be replaced.. He admits fault and im getting a hire car tomorrow. They are taking my car next tuesday to inspect. I assume they'll write it off. Its a 1997 328i sport. Needs a door, rear quarter, a sill, trims etc.. …

Our new MR2 :cool2: Decided we'll never ever replace Zedward, unless its with another Zed, which we will after we qualified, so got something else fun, cheap and still, in my opinion, really cool. Forgotten how fun it is to drive an MR2, love the driving position and the handling! Some pics :w00t:

Some of you may know we moved to an old police station last year, it had been empty for a year and needed gutting and starting again, we had damp and dry rot. We we worked night, day and weekends and had walls back to the brick and cut out joists and lintles, had everything sprayed and treated. Everything was then replastered/decorated etc. We really thought we had turned a corner and had over 60% of the house done and looking stunning. Last week the wife was looking for a shoe she lost and thought the puppy had eaten, we moved our bed to find a dry rot fruiting body coming from under the skirting board in the corner by the ensuite. I pulled off the skirting to find …
