Lagunas are nice cars, just watch out for the head gasket.

and the temperamental immobiliser.... i know quite a few people who have been left with a nice carpark decoration due to the immobiliser going pear shaped on the laguna.

Me niether:thumbup: Had a Coupe Turbo and I never had a single problem with it. The Mrs has had a 820 fastback, a 420, ZR and now a freelander

No issues with the first 3 at all, the haed gasket on the freelander went right on Cue at 58,000 but now it is sorted and she loves it (Not my cup of tea )

same well ive had 2 220 coupe turbos, first one was my first car my insurance was just over £4000 when i passed in 2006!, brilliant car, but shamefully the gearbox went on me on the way to skeggy!, then i had a few other things inbetween then i sold my last 220 coupe so i could get my tt 300, but i bought my gf a rover 25 1.4 had no end of troubles with that, immobiliser, head gasket, water pump steering rack and it only had 48k on the clock!, i veleive the r8 derived rover (ie 1990-1999) were good models but everything after was junk!, my gfs got a rover 75 now but i dont think much to that, i had to change thermostat on that never again its in a stupid plastic case in the middle of the V6.
