Well I'll my story. I have a high pressure karcher pressure washer. A few weeks back I went out to use it, but there was no pressure coming out the end. Then I noticed water was flying out of a small hole in the hose. So I decided to call a friend who does welding, but he said a weld would be no good and would not take to the hose great or last. He then advised me on this really advised tape. Well this is it http://www.denso-tape.co.uk All I can say is, it's searious stuff and worked perfect. I finished off by putting duct tape on as the denso is advious on both sides.

Me & my dad bought a new project this week, a 2010 vw transporter. It's just a panel van at the moment but we've got plans to turn it into a camper/day van. So jobs are to put windows in it, electrics, insulation & carpet it all out. Then decide how far we wana go with it. Might just put a bed in it or go for units, sink, cupboards etc. Needs a few mods to the exterior as well. Got it for a bargain price.

I have literally pondered over this for the last couple of days.... I want it but I don't have a garage so it would be pointless for me:( I know alot of people would love this, I was speaking to AndrewG at Coventry and I know he has something similar. So here it is on ebay, granted it is expensive but I'd also imagine its rare... http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/VINTAGE-NISSAN-CAR-DEALERSHIP-SIGN-HUGE-SHOWROOM-AUTOMOBILIA-MAN-CAVE-/131862254505?hash=item1eb39a53a9%3Ag%3AiI8AAOSwRQlXc32Y&_trkparms=pageci%253Ade6a9d26-54ed-11e6-b379-74dbd1807a20%257Cparentrq%253A32aec4821560a785742844fafffc119f%257Ciid%253A8

Not sure if this is in correct section- if not then no doubt a mod will re-locate it. I have a secure, alarmed unit in the ground floor of a mill in Bolton ( BL1). The unit next door is available & I can make use of some of it but to reduce costs I am looking to offer car storage etc . It's dry & secure but no power supply but has natural light. Ideal for storing 2nd or 3rd or 4th car waiting to be fettled? To clarify, access is through an entrance shared with my unit, electric roller shutter, & alarm is shared.

So, just wondered if anyone has an Oculus Rift? It's just reduced in price - so £600 with Touch and a game - https://www.oculus.com/rift/ I've watched plenty of videos on YouTube, read reviews etc. I'm almost sold. I have a PC that that according to the Steam Bench-marking App, will run it comfortably. I just wondered if anyone here had it, and can tell me their experience? More long term really, I don't want to use it for a month and be bored - I'd expect to be using it frequently, not like a fad type thing that you only get out when you have people around etc... It is the first piece of technology to get me excited in many years, and despite…

Been a bit of a hot topic in local news about Pony deaths, people hit them and they are bloody expensive to deal with afterwards so they tend to flee, bit short on CCTV round here. As we hold quite a big show (Simply Japanese) in the forest I thought it may pay to show why every year I warn you all about driving carefully through the forest. Today alone a few miles up the road from my house (not in the forest) I had to come to hault because about 30 riders and 50 hounds took over the public highway on a early season hunt. Perfectly polite but if you came round the corner to that lot in the middle of the road we'll, you can guess. Then there was a Fallow Deer carcass on …

Not one I'd normally drag up but is anyone else getting rather tired of certain media outlets, in particular the BBC and C4's obsession with so called fake news or the "post truth era" whatever the hell that is. They wang on like they are the only providers of truth, C4s tag line of "the home of real news" strikes my mind. It all ignores a simple fact, media, wether private or state funded exists for an adgenda, be that capital or capatol(see what I did there :D). Basically the facts have never stood in the way of the end game. That could be The Loch Ness Monster or the announcement that bacon makes you 300xs more likely to get cancer. Hazey facts and tortured stats are w…

https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/2765110/mark-frost-paedophile-teacher/ "Mr Tracey" was my English teacher at George Mitchell School in Leyton, back in 1982.....!!! Not only was he head of English, he also ran the "Explorers' Club," taking groups of us on camping and adventure weekends. And he produced the school magazine - on which I was the editor; and I would often be working in his office at lunch times. Hell, looks like I had a lucky escape.....

My alarm/immobiliser on my Z has been playing up for quite a while now and this week it's worse than ever. Basically, the fob just doesn't work (sometimes). You have to completely disconnect the alarm where it plugs into the siren, disconnect the car battery for 10mins, plug it all back together and then it'll work. It's an old Toad alarm and on close inspection of it, it appears to not have a separate box away from the siren. My question is, could I replace the alarm using the existing wiring and immobiliser and just replace it with a newer toad alarm and how easy would that be? I've phoned around a few alarm companies and they are wanting £500+ to remove…
