Outside our hotel in Portugal yesterday a very nice track Honda Civic Type R used at the local race track.

Has anyone had any experience of these Telematics boxes? Specifically have you ever had your insurance premium raised or lowered because of one by driving well or not?

Will be meeting at The Old Trooper pub in Chester & driving down the A41 to RAF Cosford. Let me know if anyone fancies meeting up for the drive down, will be leaving the old Trooper about half 8.

If you have not seen this piece of news yet then. A Canadian Sniper has recently broken the record for a confirmed long range kill. In the field at 3540metres or around 2.2 Miles away. More detailed view here: https://www.theregister.co.uk/2017/06/22/canadian_sniper_3450m_shot_iraq/ Was it a fluke? In my view - no way, he will have had a customised weapon and I bet the armourer will know exactly who made that shot, lots of factors involved, sure he could have missed but he made it. I'm not a fan of wars but this is impressive and instances like this just show what can be achieved with a combination of skill and great technology. Here is a guy that takes his jo…

The old AC unit has been sitting, almost redundant, in the cupboard under the stairs for most of the (many) years since I bought it.... .....However, it's only June and the ambient temp is pushing 30 degrees, so I decided to dust the old box down and lug the damn thing upstairs. Good call, methinks... I might actually sleep tonight!!!

.......One for anyone born in the 1970s here; but Brian Cant, presenter on Playschool and Playaway, has passed away aged 83. I and many others in my age group would have spent their early years watching him on TV...... RIP sir....

But not out. Rare two seat Spitfire lands with undercarriage not properly locked down.

What's everyone's views on Community CCTV ? I've had cctv for a long time now but I've just got my hands one two Hikvision 12MP Fish Eye cameras that I've dually installed. Now I say community as they pick up a lot more than just my driveway or front door and the people so far that know they are there have welcomed them. Below is an expanded view : But this is how the camera sees the world :

Lucky escape in this one :scared: Good job he crawled out before it went on fire. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4592500/Richard-Hammond-airlifted-hospital-horror-crash.html?ito=social-facebook

Just wondering if anyone has come across an electric mini da for polishing? I've Googled it but got nothing, which I'm a little surprised, thought it might have been something used in the detailing world

So, I've done it... After toying with the idea for a while now, I've just registered for next years Ironman UK triathlon. For those that don't know the event it consists of a 2.4mile open water swim, 112mile bike course and finishes with a full 26.2mile marathon run at the end. I did this event back in 2014 but literally haven't done any fitness since (probably because I was sick of the sight of my bike by the time I finished it!!) So here goes, the training starts now. I completed it in 15hrs last time so that was my line in the sand... I aim to beat this next year!

So this happened at Preston supercar meet this morning, he accelerated off the roundabout which kicked the back end out. He then tried to correct it but he hit the back end on a street lamp which spun him 360 degrees! What a mess...

Not sure if this is possible, but can I somehow track certain posts so as to make it easier to revisit at a later date? I know about the search function, which is adequate I know, just wondered if there was a way of say, adding/marking certain threads, as favourites for example. It's just that my memory is awful sometimes and every so often I say, "I've read that somewhere" but can never remember where. It's an age thing I think.

Another tragic loss today. Not as nearly as good a bond as Sean but I loved live n let die.

So this is in my garage for a week to give it a deep clean and polish. Nice curves and door setup just a pity the rotary engine is so temperamental.

I don't use My Herpes at all, but have had some stuff delivered via their strange parceltogo system. Not totally sure how it works, but what I do know is they're utter crap. Last week I was due a delivery from a forum member. Showed it was delivered, only it wasn't was it. The signature wasn't even mine and I asked all the neighbours. NADA! about 3 days later I get a knock on the door with my parcel. It had been delivered 2 roads down. The roads are CLEARLY sign posted, you can't get it wrong. 'Oh well' I thought. Had another delivery from an eBay member who also used this service yesterday. The lump of smeg who delivered this parcel (which was full of electron…
