One of the fails in my other car was headlight beam to high, now without the proper equipment , how can i adjust it? I mean, it looks okay to me.

What the hell is going on with pop music at present?! I only get normal Radio in the van and I can't abide adverts, so occasionally il listen to Radio1. It's been over a month now, but we have a new car in the household..... ....I liked our old Freelander 2, but Julia thought it was a bit too big for our needs. She has always preferred the Evoque so, at the end of Feb, I happened to see this nice coupe SD4 Pure Tech Auto for sale in our nearest Land Rover dealers - and promptly secured a good deal on it! After taking it on holiday last week, I am pretty impressed with our purchase. More to the point, Julia is extremely happy with her new toy......!! Plus I get to go on a Land Rover off road driving experience...:wink:

So the past weekend we attended our first National Auto-Solo event. Got an ABS fault code, which turned out to be front right wheel sensor. These are supposed to just undo the retaining bolt and slide the probe out of the hub, about 25mm of probe I think? But I guess 10 years of crud build up and heat cycle means I can't get it out, and the electrical connector part has broken now as well meaning nothing to pull it out with by hand really. The probe is sticking out about 5mm, but if I clamp with pliers or grips too much that will eventually wear down to nothing as its plastic. I had thought about a self tapper, but not sure I can get it started without pushing the probe further in if it starts moving, and possibly giving myself…

Show weekend in my local town tomorrow, its a car meet by the beach I go to regularly but this one is a celebration one so more cars ( 200 ) food, music and fun, weather set to be scorchio and all for free ! Had a great day out today with my daughter at the Practical Classic car show at the NEC. Some very interesting cars and trade stands, came away with renewed inspiration to start tackling the Zed. One interesting thing that we really enjoyed was a live stage chat show with Mike Brewer and Ant Anstead, the new pairing for the next Wheeler Dealers. Sadly, Edd China has moved on to ventures new. Mike talked about many things, but the most poignant part of the show was how deeply he has been affected by the leaving of Edd. Not only has this left Mike with a deep feeling of sadness, but he has also had to endure a level of media abuse from a minority of the publ…

Suppose it was only time I guess but the GNR are been equipped with a new breed of patrol car, seen as most of them have to do with ageing Skoda Octavia`S ( not RS one`s ) or lesser cars, can imagine the scramble for the keys at the station on the morning shift !! LOL Jeff
