This is probably a silly question:o on my postings next to my name it says I have done 58... now 59 incl this one, if i look on all my posts at once, it says 63.. 64 incl this one how come there is a discrepancy:confused: Anyone clear this up for me? thanks:)

Wey hey!! just (last 10 mins) gone on to broadband, Parcel force delivered my high speed modem 30 mins ago and up and running in 20 mins, all I can say is WOW now I know how slow my dial up service was! Just popped on a couple of sites (Zedcentre and Cybercraft) and got instant loading! I am sure to you IT guys this is old news but I am like a kid in a sweet store at the moment, Jeez better get some proper work done...Doh!!! Jeff TT

With thanks to AndyP for the loan of his garage and a hand with fitting it.. Configured it last night on the way home at Potters Bar services, and then tested it out today - woo... Set to wet, jump on the throttle and launch out of a junction - much fun.. Haven't dared try it on 5% slip yet though.. Of course, my car has also decided to spring an oil leak somewhere that seems to be burning off the drivers turbo, or possibly exhaust, as I a) look like smokey joe when stopped after a hard run and b) go from max to 1/2 on the dipstick in a 140 mile journey. Ahh, the never ending problems... Anyway - if you haven't got TC yet... get it!

Anyone know why Ferraris and the like, rarely (if ever) have turbos ? They tend to generate high power simply by large cc's and good tuning. Is it a purist thing about the power being less predictable and the 'problems' of turbo-lag ?

Hired a Corsa for the weekend (visit to Northern Ireland). Great fun ! Hacking around deserted lanes covered in mud. Looked like a rally car when I took it back. I know it doesn't have mega power but it reminded me how much fun it can be to get back into a car which you can throw around and have some fun in without being scared of the results. One question though. I couldn't find the white cap in it anywhere. I thought they came as standard for driver and passenger. Like airbags. Or is it a cost option ? Dave

Walkin through Newcastle today after the match and noticed another new 'NO CAR' lane right in a really busy spot that i sometimes use, loads of cars stuck bumper to bumper while this lane stood empty. These b*****ds have no right to stop people using existing roads that have been paid for over and over again by the motorist. Also in some places they block pave some sections of road and remove the kerb stones so stupid dithering t***s wander around on them daydreaming with their push chairs and bags of shopping, even though it is still a road. Run the B*****s over thats what i say!!!! Roads for cars Pavements for pedestrians too many stinkin tree huggers …

The other day I was cruising along as usual in my BMW coming onto one of my motorways, which was very busy with inferior cars. First off, I couldn't believe that the volume of traffic DIDN'T slow down for me AT ALL as I came off the slip road! I had to squeeze into a barely big enough gap between two cars in order to get onto my motorway! (The driver of the car behind me did realise his mistake though and honked an apology to me with a long blast of his horn.) Right - I'll start us off....(the idea is to add your own truly amazing story/fact) A woman was so angry at a Mountain Lion which attacked her young son that she fought the lion with her bare hands (as far as my facts are correct) for 2 HOURS !! :eek: She eventually died from her injuries, but you gotta admire the woman.
