Hi all. We sold a blue SWB 300ZX TT to a customer on Saturday. He wanted to wait until Monday to insure the car but drove it home to Bognor the same day. On Monday morning he awoke to horror. His new Z had been stolen. He had not time to insure the car (even though we said give Tesco's a call) so he has lost his Z and a lot of money. If anybody should spot this Z, please contact me on 07884 438867. The photo is here: http://www.japcity.com/300zx8.htm You can't miss this one. It has blue silver Abflug alloys (probably been removed but who knows) and a distinctive exhaust (4 large pipes). Thank you for your cooperation. Kent (Jap-City Ltd)

Having have my faith in human nature restored by my lost keys being handed back to me the other day, I was gutted to go out to my car today after work to find 2 of my metal dust caps knicked by some scally Coventry kids. I'll be checking the bike of every kid I see in the neighbourhood as and when I see em, first one with red metal dustcaps is getting a slap. Will have to get a set of the locking ones that we sell at work now. Its a sad state of affairs when you have to lock up your frigin dustcaps!!!

Hello again ;) The rolling roads session was great, met lots of new people and had great friendly competition and banter :D This sort of event IMO can really bring a bit of harmony, direction and friendliness to the forum :) and I'd love to have more similar events. I think the bit of competitiveness was a major factor in ensuring a good turnout. Local meets are great, but lethargy is always a factor. Competitive meets almost give more 'incentive' to appear as people make more effort ;) Also the fact that the venue was small helped the fun I reckon. What other events along a similar theme could we have, involving more people? 1/4 mile is a good one (I …

Here's you chance to call me a Stupid **** outside of fight club :D. For the last two days I've been a little pissed off because my car has decided to start running on 5 cylinders again. It felt exactly the same as when I drop my car after the heads were replaced and there was a problem with Piston Number 4. I was starting to think that it may be my traction control so I rewired it all without any change. I then started to think that the piston problem may have returned or even an injector so I called Peter at SE a couple of times but he was so busy getting everything ready for the Open day and RR that he really didn’t have time to speak, so after a fair …

Quote from Z1motorsports site - "Shared plenum design. This setup evenly splits the intake air volume to maintain equal flow of air through both filters. Not only does this eliminate the need for low load drivability hoses to be installed, but it produces consistent A/F results from one car to the next. What is a low load driveability hose? And you aren;t allowed to say that its a hose that improves driveability under low load:slap:

Predictable question :D:D Does anyone know the transmission loss for an auto gearbox? In percentage terms, nothing lightened etc? The RR setup couldn't cope with calculating the transmission loss due to running down in 2nd gear (as opposed to 4th in a manual). As a result I got a flywheel figures of 403 & 397  today Had a few goes trying to sort out the losses with the guy, and my best RWBHP was 268 - any ideas what this equates to @ flywheel? The RR flywheel assumed losses of 135BHP  This was the reason all the autos had unexpectedly high flywheel figures... Cheers Pete ^ |____ owner of the smooooot…
