I think it is the best mod I have put on my car. Usually I had to make an effort to make it come on in the dry, wet was easier but still needed some doing. Now that my car is chipped and the boost increased its working over time. Driving to and from Manchester in the rain down the East Lancs, I thought I would have a little fun on the many traffic lights. Having the Traction Control set to wet, I pulled from the lights quite fast with the accelerator about half way down, 1st gear was impossible so I changed to 2nd very soon and pressed the accelerator about half way again. The revs quickly went up and then about 4000rpm when the turbos are going fully, the wheel…

I was supposed to fit my boost controller today but I sprayed a few bits last night and thought that I'd fit them first. However I got a little excited and went into one !! So I didn't get round to fitting my boost controller in the end. Before After Not sure what I want to do with the fan shroud or belt covers yet. I'm thinking of having the belt covers chrome dripped, but not sure about the fan shroud, may hold out for an SE custom made jobby :D.

after loosing the Mercedes franchise over a year ago at work (cos of some stupid UK wide restructuring plan by DCUK) we now have it back (after blood, sweat & far too many hours sorting everything out). prob not too interesting to most on here but i thought it was worthwhile mentioning :D oh, deffo worth the DB: :dance:

I was looking at a 928 S4 'G' plate for 10K ! I like them a lot and I suppose they're not unlike the Z. I know they were a lot new but so was my Z. It just seems that people are giving Z's away these days. OK so most of the Z's around now are getting a bit old but the build quality was second to none and put it next to a 'G' plate Escort and look how Ford's finest has faired over 13 years. I'm still trying to figure out a few things about turbos, and the theory behind them, so I've got a few questions to ask. Some of this is just thinking out loud and trying to see if it makes sense, but tell me if I'm right or not. I might use some wrong terms here cause I'm a bit fick when it comes to cars :) Single turbo on a ZX is presumably difficult because you have to feed the exhaust gases from two sides of the engine to the single turbo inlet. This means that either you mount the turbo in front somehow (and move radiators fans and things to allow this) or can you run different length feeds from the different manifolds sides of the engine and set the turbo to o…

So - looks like the end of an era for Jacques Villeneuve. What's the consensus? Washed up has-been who deserves to go or gifted racer persecuted by his team for being more interested in competing than PR? My view is that Dave Richards was right to get rid of Jacques, but it's a real shame that he's leaving (or in fact left) F1. He's a brilliant driver to watch, and he was never able to settle well in the BAR team. What does anyone else think?

I think I may try it next time considering it is the same price as Optimax. Plus the Shell garage has a habit of blocking off the pump I used which usually means I have to do a 3 point turn in the forcourt and reverse it in to the tank is on the right side. :mad: Does any one have any information of the fuel?
