Well we didn;t get a national mag to cover the event but, I'm going to be writing an article for the Z club magazine and would like to quote some figures. Can you let me know the following : SWB / LWB TT / NA AUTO / MANUAL Max RWHP @ RPM Max flywheel Max TORQUE @ RPM Modifications Also I want to start looking at doing another RR probable around December time so can I get a few numbers of who would be up for it. I'd like to make it a little more central maybe around the Billing / Trax area. If we can get the numbers we can probably get away with paying £15 - £20 max.

Woohooo! I just got my Zed back from the bodywork people. I have had the small area of rust repaired on the O/S/R arch. Chappie did a great job removing rust, filling and blending etc:) Then I looked at the paint work:( He didn't respray whole rear wing, just the arch area and blended it in. That bit was OK but the area of original paint on the wing looks as if spiders have been ice-skating on it, he's sprayed part of the rear bumper for some reason (why, I don't know since the natural join is a good place to stop:confused: ) and the blend-in is soooo bad it could have been done by a 1 armed baboon weilding a spray-can and to cap it all the b***ard had ma…

A member of staff here at he uni has just contacted me about this... I have edited the link to make it inert, but it did used to go to an exact copy of Natwest's site. Dear NatWest Bank Member, This email was sent by the NatWest server to verify your e-mail address. You must complete this process by clicking on the link below and entering in the small window your NatWest login ID, Password and PIN. This is done for your protection --- because some of our members no longer have access to their email addresses and we must verify it. Hello all, This thread is purely for informative purposes and you may or may not want to take action based on the information I am about to write. This morning I logged onto the internet to check my e-mail accounts and received a total of 68 messages (non of which had any attachments). After deleting the obligatory spam (no less than 38 out of the 68) and dealing with the remainder of the messages I spent roughly 25 minutes online. Wishing to disconnect from the ISP I double clicked the systray modem icon and noticed that in the 25 minutes I spent online my computer had mysteriously sent out 1.35MB of info and received 8.56MB of info! :o Now, I can guarantee tha…

WORDS WOMEN USE *************** FINE This is the word women use to end an argument when they feel they are right and you need to shut up. Never use "fine" to describe how a woman looks - this will cause you to have one of those arguments. FIVE MINUTES This is half an hour. It is equivalent to the five minutes that your football match is going to last before you take out the garbage, so it's an even trade. NOTHING This means "something," and you should be on your toes. "Nothing" is usually used to describe the feeling a woman has of wanting to turn you inside out, upside down, and backwards. "Nothing" usually signifies an argument that wil…

OK, I've been moaning about running rich and emmitting plumes of white smoke at idle, but today I had a bit of fun. I was driving into the office at around 11.00am and took my usual route along a 4 lane road with occasional central islands and nuisance right turners (you know the sort of thing!??) A few of us tucked into the inside lane to pass a static car signalling right (blocking MY LANE!!!!) and I was keen to get into the outer lane again quickly so I could blast past the 'ordinary' cars in front. Sadly, some plonker in an old Ford Granada pulled out without signalling right in front of me. He didn't accelerate, but continued at the same snail's pace as the…

i've been lurking on here for ages now, ever since i first started thinking about getting a z, and i keep changing my mind as to just how sensible it would be to get one. my sensible head says: i'm 22 and i live in manchester - insurance companies tend to laugh down the phone at me when i call for a guote on practically anything although i'd consider myself a reasonably practical chap, i possess approximately neither any mechanical skills nor a great desire to get any i have no drive or garage so i can only really keep one car meaning the z would be my only car my "but i want one" head says: i've got a pretty good job so can probably afford it i'm not …

I say this because its not acting like it used to. For example on the "view new posts" page i used to be able to press F5 and refresh the screen every now and then and up date the screen. However now, it there are any changes it loads the front page again, when it never did before. Also a few times lately, when loading the site, yellow icons are shown on the forum pages to show a new post. I click on the "view new posts" to get a message saying there are no new posts. I load the site up again and the all the forum page buttons are grey meaning there are no updates. I know this is a cookie problem but it has only happened in the past couple of weeks when it never di…
