General Discussions - Non 300ZX

When my Z comes out of the bodyshop, I was thinking of treating it to a new number plate. Does G 300 T look too much like its 'G' reg or do you make the connection to 'GT' ? Other possibilty is C 300 J ........both for reasonable money. The 2nd one £100 cheaper. Which would mean FST 36M would be up for sale.

Last month my dad parked his car in a pay and display car park but his car had run out by 2 days. They have sent him a letter saying that he has to pay a £52 fine. Now, in true Greek style we have left this till the last minute to find out whether there is a way around it. He didn't tax the car till a week or 2 after it had run out. Is there any way that he can riggle out of this by asking for proof? It states that if he does not provide info, the court may impose a maximum £1000 fine. However, the wording states that a £52 settlement is requested, not demanded, does this make any difference? Hope you guys can help. Cos

Hi Geoff Im not sure but i swear i sow ur car today driving by the telford court dorms at about 13:10. If it was ur car man it needs a wash. But the exhaust sounded dead nice and ur alloys would have looked good if they where clean. Iv seen you quite a few times around and about hatfield. If it is you then why do you keep driving by the uni u trying to pull the young fresh totty heh :D Let me know if it was you. Just a quickie, my pc has become astonishingly slow, i bought it new 7 mths ago i have broadband and it was like lightning but seems to take an age now to respond or download stuff, in comparison to the way it was, im ok with pc,s to a degree but not majorly technical, i know alot of you are !! is there anything i can do or do i have to buy a memturbo or something like pc tune up, im reluctant as i feel quite sure theyre a con, any help would be lovely as its spoiling my 300zx pics n what have you fun;)

I find it quite funny how the rivalry in my eyes is set out... it seems to be Scoobies vs EVO's (understandable) Supra vs Skyline vs RX7, and 300zx's and 3000gto's are left to fight it out together! Anyone else agree / disagree? Matt

This is an old one ... made me laugh Driving to the office this morning on the Motorway, I looked over to my left and there was a woman in a Ford Mondeo doing 65 mph with her face up next to her rear view mirror putting on her eyeliner. Is it basically a stock one buy made of Pollurathine? (Spelling ;)) I ask because I know mine is not a stock one because it has been replaced when the previous owner parked upto a kirb and smashed the front. The one I have now doesnt have the black strip in the middle like stock ones do, and its flexable as hell. Put it this way, the little bump I had last year was enough to smash his bumper, smash the fiber glass bumper strength bar, but the bumper just flexed. :confused: Any one know what bumper it will be then? Hi all, I'm looking at 300's at the moment. I have a bit to spend, enough for an R33 but not enough for an R34 :(. However I much prefer the shape of the 300zx especially the modified versions in comparison to the GTR's. Since the price of the 300's is a lot lower than the R33's I will be looking at buying a nice one and spending the extra money on getting it mechanically 100% first then going to work on mods (body, engine, brakes and suspension). I know this may sound a little shallow, But I'm not very good at choosing so I need your help to choose. I care about what other people think as well as personal preference. Driving to work this morning in a very calm normal way and all of a sudden bellowing plooms of smoke start pouring from under the bonnet! :eek: On closer inspection it seems there is a massive oil leek from the drivers-side turbo:( :( I'm off to the local mechanic to see what it is, but i fear a substansial bulk of cash will soon be departing my company:cry: If that's the case then serious considerations are gonna have to be made as to wether i keep it.....The Zed is definately not my friend at the momment! Wish me luck people....I'm Bloody well gonna need it!:(
