Well, finally got round to taking a look at the wife's car today and although I didn't take the while off, I'm afraid it's curtains. Manage to limp to the petrol station to put air in the semi flat tyre and it started leaking whilst I was pumping it up. The sterring wheel is now points to 2 o'clock and when I turn it's very scarey. As the car is only worth about £400, it's not even worth considering repairing it. It's MOT is coming up and it will need tyres, the clutch is on it's way out, the cat is now hollow, the drivers window goes up on the p1ss, you can smell petrol fumes if you have the sunroof open, so I have been down to the local car supermarket today. …

Sorry mates but the last week and a bit I've been away from the forum as my dear sweet mother-in-law died and the funeral was last week. I gave my apologies for the Herts Meet which was to be held on 14th and I wonder if anyone did actually meet up??? To life!!! Geoff.

Does anyone here use Twinturbo.net. I've been using them for a wheil to answer my very indepth technical questions. However they have introduced a new NooB symbol which is placed next to your name if you are not a frequest poster. This is a bit of a pain becuase it seems as though none of my technical questions are getting any responses any more because of this NooB symbol next to my name. Anyone else get this problem ?

Having spent yesterday morning replacing my 2 stubby short coolant pipes and changing the thermostat in order to fix my rapidly disappearing coolant - The left hand pipe had a nice big split in it so that all now seems in order - no leaks from the area anyway. I've still got a bubbling sound when I switch off the engine though - I'm hoping this is still a bit of air in the system which will work its way out as I drive the car this week. Any thoughts?

Howdly doodly - while getting p*ssed at a mate's over the weekend, conversation got round to looney videos. Two in particular: the Rendezvous (Ferrari through Paris) by Claud Lelouch and Pascal round the Peripherique - one Frog and his Gixer round Paris in 11 minutes. I have searched and searched but can't find either of these. There were even a few links given here some time ago but none of those work anymore. Has anyone got an up-to-date link to either? Thanks - Gio

As many of you are aware, I'm no longer a Z owner but I'd appreciate any suggestions for a short term bodge I need. My Pajero has sprung a leak, as can be seen here : The leak is from all around that joint and is a slow drip - not too much pressure. I believe that the joint is a push fit with a rubber O ring and the O ring has perished. I'll be going to Mitsubishi tomorrow to check that I've got this right and order the replacement O ring. But if they don't have it available by Christmas then I'll need a short term bodge. My initial idea is to clean it up with thinners (maybe brake cleaner?) and to then shove some instant gasket around it. D…

Well, kinda Castleford/Allerton Bywater way (I don't know the area well enough), by the new ski slope/cinema/everything centre Xscape, 7pm Sunday night. Red 2+2, aftermarket rims, possibly import... I was in the back of an ugly blue Clio being driven very badly - we were toying what exit to come off the roundabout at (well, ok, we were shouting at the driver to take the *next* exit, so he was stopping dead), you came up behind and honked. Made me smile, cos just quarter of an hour before he'd been having a go at me to get my "woman's car" out the way so he could shift his "manly" Clio off the drive  So: sorry about the awful driving (he only passed h…

Hi all Anyone tried this yet? I used it the other day (only to get 1000 free nectar points:D ) The Zed didn't run any differently but I got some 30 miles less from that fill-up. I normally use Shell regular 95ron (UK car) and occasionally Optimax (I think the Optimax tanks at my local Shell are contaminated as the car sometime runs like 5hit if I use it from there - as did my Supra). So not only was the BP stuff more expensive but IMO it was cr@p too! Richard;)

I turned it on yesterday, it started to boot up and then turned off halfway through booting up. The power supply is good. I have tested loads of stuff in other systems and have come to the conclusion that both the motherboard and chip have blown

Complete with original targa panel bags, tool kit, and genuine shag pile floor mats with the metal logo plate. It's in Pearlescent Nissan Red and in excelent condition. Only problem, is I've got to wait till 29th to pick it up :( Took it for a test drive down the M61, very nice indeed. I'll post some pics once my digi cam is mended. I have found an Australian Company who can do a right hand drive pair of headers for the N/A Z32 It appears that only N/A's were sold in Australia. Any TT's are inport only. So it is a good source for performance parts for the N/A's The headers come in coated or uncoated, the costs are... £480 coated and £450 uncoated this includes P&P For a group buy we need to get 5 or more orders, this would reduce the cost by almost £50 each. Dont know yet what the duty would be... Any one interested? ChrissyP..
