Since I've had my Zed it's had leaky targas. Not too bad but if it rained all night I'd be driving to work sitting in a damp patch (if you know what i mean :rolleyes: ) Well, last weekend i was tinkering with the car and noticed an old tube of silicone in my toolbox so i thought I'd try applying a very light smearing on the seals with my finger (to protect them as much as anything) and today when I got in the car(it pi$$ed down all night up here!!) not even a single drip!! :dance: It's worth a try IMHO, but remember to let it dry properly before you replace the targas!! :rolleyes: Cheers,Glenn.....

Guys Are these available for a J-spec TT ? I imagine that the ones on US-eBay are no good because of the speedo etc. Any alternatives ? Unique Autosports in Australia have one but it's got a 300kph speedo...... Mark

First pic of my re-trim :D. Probably may re-do a couple of bits, as I'm not tatally happy. Especially as this vinyl is very stiff to work with. Am unhappy with the center console lid and the rear passenger side panel. Anyway see what you think, as I'm doing the drivers door tomorrow afternoon.

Well have finally got a z (well not got it yet but a done deal) its a JDM Import Auto 2+2 (Shock Horror!!! :D finally saw the light) in bayside blue, twin high polished 4.5" stainless pipes, hard pipe kit, and the expensive shift stick(not the razo one!! the one that looks like a joystick), scarab front bumper, and split rim forged alloys!!! just waiting for the docs to come through from dvla so will be posting me cheque off tonight for membership cant wait to get her on the road!!!

After this evenings debacle and with the prospect of this thread probably getting deleted i'm trying to get a feeler for how people actually feel about this club. Thought that might make you pay attention ! Actually, the end is only nigh for my time with it. I've been driving the other half's new 350 since Sunday (she only got it delivered last Friday afternoon) and it has been fun, but unfortunately she'll be back this Friday night and is expecting me to return it :( It's feels quite a lot different to my Z, it's shorter, taller and definitely doesn't have the mid-range whoomph that the turbo's deliver, but no question about it, it's a pretty quick car. Not only do they charge us more, but Shell have decided to offer these new Trump Cards to Optimax users BUT, not for every £10 of Optimax you put in, but for every purchase you make. So yesterday, I put £10 in, went to pay, walked back out and put another £10 in, and went in and collected my second set of cards. I told the bloke that I would be back today to do the same and wouldn't it make sence for him to just give me 5 sets after I fill up be he wasn't going for it. So , have returned this morning, collected another set, and shall be returning this evening to collect another set. What a farse! Anyway, who's for swapsies?
