In 3 days time I will have had my zed for exactly 1 year. Just wanted to say thanks for all the help and advice I have had from people on this forum. Most of the money spent on the zed has been on modifications, about a grand. The rest has been spent on general maintanence, tyres, oil, brakes etc. A very reliable car. Cheers guys!

Today I have been mainly bypassing my PRVR... and then spotted the fuel leak at last when I idled it to test. Two more problems fixed. It's like a different car... again... can this thing just keep getting more and more responsive for ever? Nearly put the bonnet through the windscreen though, and invented a new sport of bonnet-surfing. Went out for a proper test, took it up the hill climb on the A58 between Rochdale and Ripponden, but by god it was WINDY. Managed to stand upright long enough to get some pics, but look at the state of the reservoir! http://homepages.nildram.co.uk/~zevans/blackedge-stormy.jpg We should have a meet in the …

Thought I'd ask you guys for a bit of advice. Getting thoroughly fed up with my sloooooow connection at home and reckon it's about time I got Broadband to speed things up. As a total novice in this field, could anyone point me in the right direction, which company you'd recommend, do's and don'ts etc? Aside from my main computer, I have a laptop that lives upstairs that isn't connected to the internet at all that I'd like to hook up as well. I'm currently using Tiscali (through a "box") on my BT line and have been eyeing up the £15.99 a month+modem+installation deal they have at the moment. Any thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated! :) Cheers, Leigh.

Evening all .. since I've had her since Wednesday, I thought it was high-time I shared a few pics of my new baby. I know it's not the standard fodder for 300zx.co.uk, but I have to say I've now done 300 miles in the car, and I fooking love it!! :hyper: So, here's a few piccies for your delectation, or disgust - whatever takes your fancy, really!! ;) View from the bedroom window! Ray's alloys and brembos Centre Console with sat nav. Anyway, enough for now, suffice it to say I am grinning from ear to ear. Once I've clocked up a few more miles, I'll add my own thoughts to Andy P's excellent write-up on his week spent with the 350 ... …

I know that the wheels on a Z are directional - and I seem to remember reading that they aid brake cooling or something like that. If that's true then why didn't they make two for one side and two for the other that were 'reversed' so that they all did the same job ? Surely at the moment one side is benefiting from the wheel's effect and the other is not.... Is it just uneconomical to produce a true matched set - ie two and two ? XR3's had the same thing (showing my age here) as did countless other cars. I think even if you are buying an expensive after-market directional alloy you still get only one direction which of course is 'wrong' on one side'. M…

Well I was wondering what the car in the Gillette Razor ad was (like you do), when I found this... I reckon it's the right one, cos I saw an S7 sign on the ad somewhere. But I still don't know what it is! A Saleen S7, it's a big V8, so I guess it's a yank tank. Anyone know anything about them?

Well, after months and months of cursing myself because I would never get round to buying a Digital camera, I finally did it. I bought a FujiFilm 4700. http://www.fujifilm.com/JSP/fuji/epartners/ServiceSupportProduct.jsp?prodcat=235134&productselect=true&product=43860710&item=I235134&subitem=SIServiceSupport235134 However, something that I did want to run past you guys is, have any of you ever been browsing through ebay and ended up making a "Buy it now" purchase without actually having clicked on it. The reason I ask this is because before I bought the camera, I was looking at this:- http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&categor…
