  5. OK, here's a long-winded one: I got an NIP today, dated 5/5, for an offence on 30/1 in Cumbria - 89 on the M6, caught by a crappy camera van [side rant: they're supposedly "hi-vis" liveried but b0ll0x to that! They're dark blue with a yellow stripe along the bottom, and they park on bridges so the yellow stripe is obscured]. Now, I was in the works van, which is why they can get away with sending the NIP 3months after the offence. After some thinking I realised that it's also a lease-hire van, which is presumably why the boss didn't mention receiving anything within 14days to me (because it would have got sent to the hiring company, arrived at him months later, …

Wondered if you know but apparently Warranty Holdings went bust in Feb! I went to claim this morning and was greeted with the news. My garage are now arguing the toss on my behalf as I still have a few months left to run on mine. No contact or anything to let me know! :xxx: Does anyone know of any aftermarket DECENT warranties that we can pay to have applied to our cars??

And as far as reliability goes, you're all coming up to the wonderfull 10 year mark yourselves now - some humble pie on its way to you

Took me about 10 minutes to fit, went out for a run........ ........took me 3 minutes to notice the difference, some tw@t pulled out right in front of me and I had to slam on the brakes, noticed the change right away!!! Less 'spongy' and more responsive..... Good job I had it fitted!! :D If you have not got one yet, I'd advise you to get one ASAP.... Matty.

Dammit. A purple Porsche just kicked my ass. Was a Y reg 911, the thing went like a bat out of hell - really fast. My poor Z was left totally. :( Still having had a quick butchers on Porsche's website, it seems that it may have been a 3.0 turbo with 300hp. Didn't realise the old porkers were that quick! Guess I need to tweek the Z alittle ;)

  12. This will probably be of no interest to the majority but thought I'd post for anyone out there in the same boat as me with Crohns. Makes for interesting reading: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/3610665.stm http://www.mtsinai.on.ca/AboutUs/News/2001/Nov20.htm It's still a LONG way to go till we reach a stage where it will benefit any sufferers out there but....it's a step in the right direction. Funnily enough it seems to back up what I've always said that Crohn's is caused by a combination of internal as well as external factors. And for those with IBS and strong stomachs (pardon the terrible pun) found this today: http://www.patienthealthinternati…

Just watched him lob the new GT3 around Croft racing a helicopter (he won). His car control is fantastic  , I suppose once you have it, you don't lose it, especially if you get to drive different supercars as a day job.

So whos seen it yet then, think its got to be the best yet, good footage in this one, features an NSX and a Corvette, much better than GIS3 and as good if not better than GIS2. The NSX driver (mrX) even has a head camera, so you get a drivers eye veiw. If only i had the balls to drive like that.
