had my first scary moment in the zed on saturday was just out for a cruise, pulled away from some lights and followed the road on a very slight right hander. it was completly dry day and th back end just swiped out, lost control of th bugger and ended up sliding backwards across two lanes on the opposite side of the road. thank god there were no cars on the other side (suprising for a usually busy junction). i just remember lookin out th passenger window watching th kerb get closer and closer, praying for th car to stop. i just drove off in th opposit direction as tho nuthin happened and got a lot of funny looks, god am lucky. had a coupla mates in th car who cdnt s…

Thanks for the intake mate for the Mister-2, it sounds awesome when I'm giving it large in the hairdresser rocket! You are a star, will buy you many, many beers at Billing or whenever. That's why this place is soooooo great, loadsa top people and what I find strange most of all is that when peeps sell their Z's they still stay here. Adam gave and fitted this for free which I think is a mighty gesture, so again mate, thankyou and hope that Mrs. R's hayfever has gone away...poor thing. Nice to see the Scoopy boy again, FFS, someone buy his Z, it's immaculate and a goodun by any standards. ;)

With a view to lowering the selling price of my car, would anyone be interested in buying my 18" Antera 309s? The tyres are Toyo Proxies, and I have 235s on the front which currently have about 6mm of tread, and the rears are 275s which have about 4mm of tread. They have flush fit valves and are in immaculate condition, apart from the NS rear which has a tiny scuff on it which you can hardly notice. I paid over £1700 last September and hence am looking for around £1200. Alternatively, £900 p/x for a decent set of 17"s with good rubber, or £1100 for standard rims with good rubber. Any offers?

Looks like I'm not even close to getting my Zed back for the Pod this weekend, so having to be driven down by a mate :( Then to add to it, my mate with his supposed 380bhp Saphire Cosworth has talked himself into a Fast Ford feature. He's being interviewed tonight and to wind me up has threatened to mention me & how I might be trading in the 300 after going is his car as it's so much better, faster etc etc. This is absloute shite obviously but if it does turn up in the mag I will not be happy as I cannot bear people even talking about the two cars in the same sentance let alone something going into print:mad: :xxx: To top it off, I have had to buy a ru…

Some nice cars there, but all I can say is. OMG!! Skylines and 200SXs are common as muck there. Only Scoops' 300ZX and one other. Thanks to Adam for taking me out for a test spin. Im glad you got a car your happy with even though you went 180º and bought a Toyota. But what goes round comes round. I would post some pics but they are shit! Would like to see more ZXs there next time. I want mine done by then too. Stuart

Its been nearly 2 years off the road. 8.5K in repairs and mods. The missus has threatend to do one due to me neglecting her. FFS wish she would, I could spend more dosh on mods, but hey carnt have ye cake and eat it. After lots of pain and dosh, my ever so reliable machine should be back on the road within 2 weeks. Well fingers crossed. Its going to take me another month to fit all me goodies and to rework my ICE install. Might leave this till winter and get some use out of it. I cannot wait to go to all the meets I have been missing CUM ON :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Round stuarts yesterday we (well he ;)) tried to solve my smoking problem, on idle after exactly 2.5 minutes I was getting a constant haze of blue smoke out of passenger side exhaust. This pointed to a problem with the driver side of the engine so first port of call was the pcv valves, the valves had been replaced 12 months ago and on inspection were fine, however two problems were 1) pcv valve was looseish, 2) lots of oil built up in the pcv valve hose Stu cleaned up the pcv hose and then reinstalled it. Today no smoke whatsoever on idle, even after a spirited drive and left to idle for 5 minutes. I've spoken to a few people and the general consensus …

Was having a ponder about this and was wondering what you guys think? The rules are that the total cost of the car and modifications has to be no more than 5k in total!! Surely the zed has to be one of the top runners if not the top, for around 5k you can get it to the high end of the 300's Maybe the cossie is another contender?

Does anyone know where the article is that shows how to mount the front panel from a turbo timer remotely from the body of the time. He used a 1 foot long piece of ribon connector to fit the two together, which I want to do, but I can't get hold of the ribbon, any ideas?

cheers matey for helping out with car today, just got back in and ride home was incredibly smooth, good news is though i left her to idle for 5 minutes and all smoke has dissapeared from the passenger exhaust :D :D its good to know turbos are good. thanks for feeding me cerina :D

Just got access to Photoshop Elements as I need to alter a photo tonight ready for tomorrow if possible. I'm a complete novice when it comes to this so thought I'd ask you guys as time is pressing! I want to select a colour (I use the eye dropper tool I guess?) but then alter that colour in the original photo to one that is completely different. I know this is very basic but if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated. Cheers, Leigh.

Andy, You know when you and Az were messing about with his car? Then two same sided turbo's turned up all the way from down under, how the f\/ck did you manage to fit them? Not having a pop mate, serious, I've got that second hand set for mine and I'm trying to comprehend how you managed it!

Hi guys, Now I know most of you are loaded, so has anyone got access to a real sweet expensive car that they would be willing to use to chauffer me missus to her wedding? Obv some bucks in it or food and drink? Any takers?

Got a nice suprise in the post this morning, a £100 parking ticket for a car which I sold last year! It's for parking in a metered bay or something, is £100 fine normal? it's in London (the guy who bought it lives in london, I live near brighton lol). What can I do? is there any way I can get it overturned? there's NO phone number on it at all, which I find disgusting! The tricky bit: I cant remember when I sold it! and when i did, i held on to the log book for about 3-4 weeks as the blokes cheque for half the value bounced... and he transfered the rest, later. (I know, stupid wasnt I). So basically I'm not sure what date the transfer is marked at at the DV…

Not sure if this is another of the 'urban myths' but if not, then bloody hell we all better look out!! Subject: WARNING FROM KEITH BEASLEY/LONDON AMBULANCE SERVICE What a lovely country we live in !!!! We have received a warning at the London Ambulance Service and have been asked to pass on the information to all our families and friends. The LAS have units closely associated with the Police 'D.A.R.E.' squads based in South London who are basically fighting Gang Crimes. The 'street gangs' in London (particularly South London at present, but it is sure to spread) have initiation tasks which new gang members have to c…
